    About as pathetic is when, in 1991, they beat a battered and injured Oregon team to finish the year 1-10 and they actually created a video..."We Own the State."

    Very similar to a participation trophy they give to 6 year old kids. Never was a fan of those things. At some point, someone’s mom suddenly decided that everyone should get trophies.
     

    Seems like a scam by whomever is advertising a championship banner. I would be embarrassed to buy one. What is even more hilarious is that they don’t make them until someone buys one…lol
     

    I wonder if everyone gets a championship ring?

    Sad is the only word. It's like when I would hear the announcers talking about the refurbishing of the stadium and facilities. It's like the guy getting new seat covers for his VW, going through the car wash and showing everybody pictures.

    Over the years there have been OSU teams that deserve a banner for their accomplishments. But this????

    First they besmirch the past accomplishments of the Pac-12 by continuing the name, and now they dishonor the valid accomplishments of their own prior deserving Oregon State teams of the past?

    Looks like the Pac 2 Champion is an 18.5 point underdog to Boise State.  The game is in Boise.  Oregon State (5-6) needs a win to become bowl eligible.
