kirklandduck Moderator No. 3 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:04 PM I'm not surprised. I mentioned in another post that it's relatively short and straight forward drive on the interstate to get from UT to Ohio State's campus. We're going to see a lot of orange in those stands at the shoe.
DrJacksPlaidPants Moderator No. 4 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:17 PM This doesn't stem from Ohio State fan disinterest. The pre-sale code for Buckeye fans was leaked. As an aside, I will say that anybody with even the slightest cyber awareness training would know that this code word was not secure enough. From this article: "The get-in price as of Tuesday morning was as low as $142 on StubHub. The Ticketmaster presale code ‘OSUFB’ leaked online last week, when tickets were put on sale for Ohio State fans. The leak ended with Tennessee fans and ticket resellers getting a head start on the ticket market." A Leaked Presale Code Allowed “Rabid” Vols Fans to Purchase Tickets for Ohio State-Tennessee, Leaving Only Resale Tickets Available at Higher Prices WWW.ELEVENWARRIORS.COM A leaked presale code allowed “rabid” Volunteer fans to swoop up tickets for Ohio State's CFP matchup with Tennessee. Now, only resale tickets are available at higher prices.

Dr Hilarius Moderator No. 6 Share Posted Tuesday at 08:27 PM The big news they’re reporting is that 42% of resale tickets are going to TN residents. That means there’s another 58% of tickets going to other people. That doesn’t sound unusual at all. Less than half the resales are going to the other team. So what?
DrJacksPlaidPants Moderator No. 7 Share Posted Tuesday at 11:22 PM You gotta watch out for Vols fans. They have no problem taking out a second mortgage on their double-wides to afford to go to bowl games. They also ramp up corn liquor production for extra cash just in case they make it the national championship game.

The author graduated from UT Chattanooga. I'll wait until Saturday night to see how orange is the Shoe. A reliable FG kicker makes two kicks he never misses and the beef is over tOSU not covering, not whether Day should be the coach. BTW, a takeover of The Shoe by Vol fans would be the worst possible look for the Big Ten. BASH BRUTUS! VILIFY THE VOLS!

Nevada Dawg No. 10 Share Posted yesterday at 06:22 AM You gotta remember that this is the first time the Vols have been at all relevant for national honors since late last century. Their fans are stoked for this game, and all the ugly orange apparel may make the Shoe look like the Vols have taken it over even if the majority of fans are OSU partisans. Prepare for the Vols fans to be loud, delusional, and obnoxious.

My bet... Tennessee fans. Ohio State fans bought up a TON of the tickets for the B1G championship game and then the Buckeyes didn't make it. Apparently the resale market had decent tickets going for very low prices. And Lucas Oil Stadium is much much closer to Ohio than the Rose Bowl is. So my bet is Tenn fans. Jon Joseph Moderator No. 15 Share Posted 21 hours ago 3500 tickets are made available to the visiting team per CFP guidelines including tickets for members of the visiting band members and mascot Smokey. I'd let the band members in for nada if they promised not to play Rocky Top on a continuous loop and to pick up Smokey's . There will be more Scarlet and Gray than Orange in the Shoe.
