NYDuck No. 4 Share Posted Thursday at 04:07 PM Not worried about DL replacing him with another quality receiver. Obviously it would be great if E Stew came back, DK Moore will replace Tez and we have other depth at the position. Zachariah Branch? Eh. Not really sold on him. EastBayDuckDad Moderator No. 5 Share Posted Thursday at 04:12 PM Wish this young man the best regardless of the circumstances. Tampa Bay to Eugene is a long haul for a 17-18 year old particularly if there are family issues. This may also be the harbinger of someone planning to stay an additional year (E Stewart) or a portal addition at the WR position such as U$C transfers Duce Robinson and Z. Branch. Remember too that 5☆ Gatlin Bair joins the team in 2026 once his LDS mission is complete. The 2025 recruiting rankings take a hit, but OBD would still be in the top 7 or 8 and should remain loaded at the WR position. 1

mikethehiker No. 7 Share Posted Thursday at 04:42 PM No problem with this. The recruiting never ends now (see Dante Moore). Go get some experience and come back in 1-2 years ready to make a big difference.
WiseKwacker No. 8 Share Posted Thursday at 05:08 PM Tough to lose one. But if his heart wasn't into the move to Oregon, better to have him bolt now than later on. On the topic of the Ducks' wide receiver room, what's the scuttlebutt on Jurrion Dickey? Heard some encouraging comments from him after his true freshman year, but it never resulted in any playing time for him. What seems to be holding him back at this point? I don't even see his name mentioned in articles describing the next players who might step up with the graduation of Tez Johnson, Traeshon Holden, and (possibly) Evan Stewart.

The rumors are that 1) he is not working as hard as they hoped, and 2) he is not catching onto the offense quickly enough compared to other new receivers. Some don't work out. 1 2 Mr. FishDuck

Whoops- did not see Charles'post above but what he has stated is what I have heard as well from a couple of different people close to the program. He is a dynamic player and if used correctly, he should have similar production to Tez if he joins Oregon.
HDuck No. 15 Share Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Branch is also a heck of a punt returner. It's been awhile since the Ducks had that kind of threat. In 2023, about 20 yds per both punt and kickoff returns. In 2024, his yards per reception was 10.7.
