Ktmguy2018 No. 5 Share Posted Friday at 10:34 PM If Tulane beats Florida, what will the SEC's excuse be for that?
DrJacksPlaidPants Moderator No. 6 Share Posted Friday at 10:35 PM He also missed a wide open receiver down near the goal line. His pass was way under thrown. He cannot throw on the run.

1Funduck No. 10 Share Posted Friday at 11:51 PM Shocking he was a 5*. Any Freshman can play better. He just simply makes his completions to the other team. Its really sad.
QuackAttack No. 11 Share Posted yesterday at 12:25 AM Truly sad! I feel terrible for Ty! I don't understand how a 5* who is also the Elite 11 Big Dog can be so lost. Ty looked like a deer in the headlights out there and he looked like he had no confidence. Ty needs to pull his name out of the portal and improve and try to win the job next year. This performance isn't going to get him anything at the FBS-level and maybe not at the FCS-level. He's such a great kid, but something isn't clicking on the field for him. 1 2
AllOregon No. 12 Share Posted 9 hours ago Just brutal, it is sad. But vindicates the 2 UO coaching staffs who indicated he is not the guy. Tulane had 2 former 5 stars at WR including Mario Williams, yet Ty was beyond ineffective, missing wide open guys. Still looks dazed and confused, not able to process defenses nor go through progressions correctly. He should accept Tulane coach’s offer to stay and be the occasional wildcat Tayson Hill role as a back- up. This “ showcase” start just scared away even any legit group of 5 team looking at Ty in the portal.
WiseKwacker No. 13 Share Posted 9 hours ago (edited) I watched this game through the start of the second half. I was hopeful Ty would have a breakout game since he didn't get much playing time during the regular season. Sadly, he was under pressure nearly every time he dropped back to pass. When he wasn't just throwing it away, his passes were often off target. Thinking I'd seen this painful movie before, I turned the game off and went out into my yard to do some winter cleanup. I hope Ty is getting a college degree out of all this. Edited 9 hours ago by WiseKwacker typo correction
anyotherduck No. 14 Share Posted 7 hours ago It was very kind of the Gators to allow the score in the 4th. The Ty Thompson experiment appears to have ended.
