Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted January 11 Every fan base is between "critical" to "brutal" of their head coach when they lose a big game. Great to see such good sports at Texas... A critical fan who cannot spell "pressure?" 2 Mr. FishDuck

OregonDucks No. 4 Share Posted January 11 I guess you are a bum unless you win every single game. Josh Pate had a good point that every coach is now compared to the greats. I’m sure that even Saban had some wacky online fanatics when he occasionally lost or didn’t win a championship at Bama.
noDucknewby No. 5 Share Posted January 11 Fans are just delirious sometimes. Texas' last championship was in 2006 under Mack Brown, but Sark has only gotten them to the final four two years in a row and some want to show him the door? Of course the only unqualified successful season is a national championship, but seriously Sark took a dumpster fire and made them title contenders. Eye roll. 1 1
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 6 Share Posted January 11 With the presser he was under I thought Ewers played a terrific game. Ohio State could have had eight sacks as was the case in the Rose Bowl. I guess this guy HATED Sark's post-game press conference? Both Os underperformed. Both Ds stepped up.
Washington Waddler Moderator No. 7 Share Posted January 11 Presser? Maybe the guy meant Sark couldn’t handle the media. Looked to me like the game came down to two plays decided by a quarterback that could run, and a quarterback that couldn’t.
30Duck Moderator No. 8 Share Posted January 11 I'm not saying we're perfect, here at "The Forum with Decorum" but I don't remember seeing anything close to what we saw from osu2's and now Texas, after either of the Ducks losses to the Huskies in 2023. I guess we just handle presser better.

I guess we just handle presser better. There are Duck “fans” who only show up to complain. They get deleted pretty quickly if they cross the line. I’m sure Charles can tell some stories from the early days.
Ktmguy2018 No. 10 Share Posted January 11 I think this is a bigger symptom of fans buying into the media hype of their conference and team. Texas is in the Almighty SEC, none shall stand! I loved that the Ducks were #1 and certainly played like it some weekends. But I also have been around college football long enough to know that any team can be beaten any week. What happens next year if they lose in the CFP again with Arch Manning? Imagine the cacophony then!!
