We invite you to always explore the “News” on the menu bar in the header..

When you click on the word “News,” you will see an index of multiple links to sports news sites for your enjoyment!

From now on, except for a very few circumstances, our threads will be just one page. Advertising only appears on the first page and we want to make as much money as possible for the site.  The bonus in doing this is that it will be easier for everyone to move around the thread.

This Thread is for News Articles ONLY.  You can always start a new thread with any of these articles for discussion.

It was only four counts of theft. Gundy draws the line at 6. 😉🤔

I think Gundy will find the Ducks and Autzen to be lactose intolerant. 😁

Mike Gundy repeatedly cites how much money Oregon is spen...

There is a significant financial gap between Oregon and Oklahoma State and Mike Gundy mentioned it nearly a half dozen times before the Cowboys comes to play the Ducks.

Gundy has reinstated his star freshman linebacker in spite of the multiple shoplifting charges against him. Inside word is that some petty theft will be tolerated since OSU can't pay the same NIL that the big boys do, and the players gotta eat.

According to Coach Solomon Gundy, Oregon (ahem, Uncle Phil) paid over $40 mil last year to pack that roster. He did say he "might be off a few million". James Crepea laid it all out in dollars and let the numbers speak for themselves. Not quite the picture Coach would have us believe, especially after a 3-9 2024 season and goose egg in the Big 12, and considering the pay cut he had to take to stay put and retain staff.

Whatever happened to T Boone's legacy?

You'd think A Man over 40 would have slightly more sense. 🤪Cents?

"Died on Saturday, Buried on Sunday. This is the end, Of Solomon (Mike) Gundy." 😁

Oregon CB expected to play, WR out, OL questionable vs. Oklahoma State

Northwestern transfer Theran Johnson missed UO’s season opener against Montana State with a right knee injury. Redshirt freshman receiver Dillon Gresham was out with an unspecified injury and backup guard Kawika Rogers went down after 16 plays with an ankle injury.

Pregnon, who returned to the sideline but did not play after the injury, is expected to play this week.

Coach Gundy exaggerated a lot. But if it makes himself feel better, go for it. It seems he’s already making excuses before the game even starts.

Notable quotes in Dan Lanning's weekly press conference before the Oklahoma State game

With a game under their belt, the Oregon Ducks have a lot more substantial things to look at, improve upon, and actual game film from their first Division I opponent of the season in Oklahoma State. Coming off of a Week 1 win against Montana State where the Bobcats were dominated 59-13, we saw a lot of great things from Oregon, particularly the young players on the roster who had a chance to get out and prove themselves for the first time.

Yeah, and on top of that, he’s already dealing with one boob job — LB Wendell Gregory.

Sour Grapes Dept. — all Gundy’s Duck Dough comment does is reveal his wistful envy for the same kind of source which dried up on him in 2023 when the Boone Pickens Foundation made its final donation.

Nothing to back this up, but I’d guess Uncle Phil hasn’t quite arrived at the 650 Million given by Pickens to the AD. It’s estimated that his total gift to the university is over 1 Billion.

Oklahoma State, OK - Mike Grundy, not so much
