15 hours ago15 hr No. I was just watching highlights, thinking of past teams, & thinking "hmm, we may actually have all the ingredients this year, barring injury..."
15 hours ago15 hr No. Yeah.... this'll be a 'wait and see' thing for me. (as I frantically knock on every bit of wood I can find)This years team looks the part... but here's the thing - so did last years team.
14 hours ago14 hr No. My main concern at this time is the inside D-line. Can they hold up to a rush attack from Penn State?
14 hours ago14 hr No. I will say this, The Ducks first 2 games have been astounding. The total package of the Offense incl blocking and pass protection is awesome.

I'm looking to see a bit more from those guys. Oregon is not in the top 10 in rushing or passing defense, and barely top 10 in scoring defense... against poorer competition. We are sitting at 46th nationally for sacks. 75th in tfl's...

The FIU, Who Knew!, defense held up well late into yesterday's game against the Nits rushing attack.Of course, this game was a Snooze Out and not a White Out.This will be OBD's D 3rd game vs. DC Jim Knowles. OBD is 1-1. Many solid players on the D side of the ball for Penn State, but Caleb Downs is not one of them. The Ducks have the weapons to win a shootout. No doubt, Week 5 will be a B1G test.

I meant no disrespect, just curious. I have no trouble reading the normal text, so I guess that's why it stands out to me. Cheers!
10 hours ago10 hr No. There is no doubt that OBD's have performed at a high level in these first 2 games of the young 2025 season. And i dont want to give the impression that I am not excited about the start. Very, very encouraging! However these performances, stats and results were accompmished against who? How many players on MSU and OK State will be playing on Sundays?I agree with the posters above who feel its to early to come to conclusions and want to wait until after the PSU White Out Game. Can the O defense shut down the powerhouse PSU running game, forcing their QB to make plays? Can the Duck O Line protect DM against a defense littered with future NFL players? Can DM make the adustments at the line of scrimmage or make great throws under pressure? Only time will tell.I think they can......One thing is for sure, PSU will have their hands full with every aspect of this 2025 Duck team. It should be a great game.....GO DUCKS!

Generally a big drop in production when backups take over the game. I recall Mr @Charles Fischer a few years ago talking about how the team didn't quite meet the eyeball test, winning record nonetheless (I think that was back in the Mario days). So far, my eyeballs are very very happy with the speed, blocking, focus, lack of idiotic penalties, & teamwork. I feel like this team will continue to grow!
5 hours ago5 hr Moderator No. Continuing FGD’s theme from above, I feel the competition for playing time this year is real. The guys that are the 1s seem to have the focus of knowing how close the 2s are. The 2s seem to know the 3s are right on their heels as well.If Mariota’s ‘14 team had anything close to this amount of depth, they win the Natty. Still a long way to go of course and the competition hasn’t been stellar but this does feel different.
5 hours ago5 hr No. What a difference a week makes. Last week I thought FPI was the most nonsensical ranking system I'd ever seen, but now I have no problem with it.
