I knew it, ha! I'm excited for the BB season! We need fans in Eugene to show up in order to get us to being a top program. Matt Knight Arena is actually in an excellent neighborhood and the arena itself is great. Eugenians have abandoned the team to a degree because they are too obsessed with Mac Court and the past. Move on!

Always exciting to see a good prospect signed.

I hear you on the “abandoning” of the team, but imo it’s not because of the arena. I’m in PDX and had the option of going to any game I wanted for free last year, and went zero times

College basketball in general has become pretty boring in the regular season imo. OBD teams the last few years have been relatively mediocre and Dana plays an old school brand of ball….football has raised the bar, squeaking into a field of 68 no longer moves the needle like it used to.

Oregon landed a commitment from 5-star forward Tajh Ariza on Friday afternoon. Here's a trip down memory lane of the 10 best Oregon basketball pledges in school history.

That's great news to hear. But I read that he plans to be a one-and-done. We'll see how that pans out. But if it's only for one year, that's better than not having him at all.

But the Ducks were terrible for the longest time. My username gives my undergraduate degree date, but I think we've been pretty sharp lately. The school is not doing enough to make the stadium engaging. They need to make it a huge loss leader and more tickets to students.

I am their target audience, and yet I don't go to every game. It's not pumped up enough. Like I said- more tickets for students and low income rowdy fans.

You make an excellent point, 2002duck. There is not enough excitement in Matt Court and greater student attendance could be the “ticket” to providing it.
