8 hours ago8 hr Author No. I knew it, ha! I'm excited for the BB season! We need fans in Eugene to show up in order to get us to being a top program. Matt Knight Arena is actually in an excellent neighborhood and the arena itself is great. Eugenians have abandoned the team to a degree because they are too obsessed with Mac Court and the past. Move on!Always exciting to see a good prospect signed.I hear you on the “abandoning” of the team, but imo it’s not because of the arena. I’m in PDX and had the option of going to any game I wanted for free last year, and went zero times College basketball in general has become pretty boring in the regular season imo. OBD teams the last few years have been relatively mediocre and Dana plays an old school brand of ball….football has raised the bar, squeaking into a field of 68 no longer moves the needle like it used to.
