I am not real thrilled with our uniform combos; too much black, and bizarre crowd matchups. Let me get this right...the crowd is wearing YELLOW?

And we wore black versus Oregon State? Sorry, by Duck-Buddies, but I call it the way I see it.

All those making these color decisions in the Cas Center?

Wait...I just noticed something! That is a VERY COOL HELMET!

OK...so green pants we did not have at the B1G Championship last year...

I wish they would bring back the apple green uniforms they wore against FSU back in the 2015 Rose Bowl, that looked pretty darn good.

This goes back to my complaint about the generation O uniform collection we're running. It has two different color pallets... A retro and a modern.

There isn't a green top in the modern color palette. There is the highlighter yellow though and that was the uniform I was expecting with the crowd wearing yellow.

"Just win baby win", I do not care what it looks like. . . unless it is those retro blue ones v ewe dub years ago (the unis fortunately erased the score from my brain) and the all banana yellow ones from the early 2000's.

For whatever reason, the equipment room does not seem to favor matching pants and tops these days. I personally was hoping we'd go storm trooper at PSU.

I think they opted against stormtrooper v PSU because they wanted some contrasting colors against the all white backdrop.

Stormtrooper all white with an all white backdrop might have been a bit much.

It would have been really cool no doubt.

As to the stormtrooper unis at PSU, I thought that would be cool too, but there may also have been some thought about having uniforms that contrast well with the sea of white in the background. (David Marsh beat me to the punch)

I really like the black uniforms . . . but I like them most for night games, not mid-day games.

I'm 56 (will be 57 sooner than I like to admit) and I also think OBD's drip for this game is on fire!

The uniform combinations are actually decided in the Spring. Below is an excerpt from an ESPN article about the subject.

"Once players have finalized their choices with Farr's assistance, he will lay out the scripting in a look book and show head coach Dan Lanning before the spring game for approval. Finalizing the looks well in advance of the season helps Farr organize the high volume of inventory he has to line up. Going off-script is rare, but not impossible. Two years ago, with undefeated Colorado visiting for a highly anticipated matchup, the Ducks changed to a different uniform combination."

Throughout the past two and a half decades, Oregon has pushed the envelope when it comes to uniforms.

I confess I wasn't thrilled with these until my wife claimed she "loved" them.

So, now I "like" them.

🤷‍♂️ What can I do? She's a great cook!

I like them but I guess only 20% of the fans will wear yellow.

Since that was last year's cancer uni, I don't know if it's "officially" part of this set or not, but that's definitely something I've been wondering. I'd love a dark green version of the modern set to change things up a bit. We're just so (somehow) limited with the number of options at our disposal.

We wore the yellow top in another game last year I want to say.

I want to say we went full bumble bee one game.

Very "meh", whatever, the thing that annoys me about being asked to wear yellow is that it's later in the season and I don't have any yellow sweatshirts or jackets, so with the weather I'm most likely not going to buy an overpriced piece of clothing at the Duck Store just to fit into the crowd.
