For some reason this does not surprise me. If he likes it there (and I would assume he does) why leave for somewhere else? Showing that he can get the job done at Indiana (again, assuming he does continue to do so), he doesn't need to prove anything by going somewhere else.

Dan Lanning has stated many times his loyalty to Oregon for giving him, a coach with NO head-coaching experience, a chance.

The AD got out front of his coach being poached. .
