No need to rush any player back for JMU (knock wood), but getting Dak and Bryant back for Texas Tech (no hubris meant football gods) would be excellent.

Thank goodness for the off-week plus to give these guys reps and possibly have Stewart ready to go.

This is a great game for those guys to be back!! Hopefully NO injuries.

If they are deemed ready to go, it would be good to shake off a little rust prior to the next round... assuming there is a next round.

If any of those stars align, keep it minimal, a pray for safety!

That is some serious talent at receiver!

While we don’t need to rush them back, it would be nice for them to all get a few series together to work off any rust.

Might be bizarre to say this but I think this helps our special teams massively. In close games we've seen the return game come up huge and having an extra receiver that can field punts or kickoffs could help us steal some points against elite teams. Also just having Dak or EStew automatically drags a safety to that side for help over the top so Moore can find Sadiq or GBJ underneath.

We'll what part of practice? A lot of times the media is only allowed to see warm ups and a drill or two.

Still, it's a great sign, and hopefully at least 2 of the 3 will be ready to contribute at a high playoff level once by the Texas Tech game.

Benson taking over for Bryant has been the difference for punt return. If Bryant comes back, I think Benson continues to be the guy.

And these days kick returners are your speediest running backs not WRs for durability reasons.

They may all be ready to go, maybe some of them, but I would think , most of all it is Lanning saying to JMU, here are a few more things to think about and plan for.

As if JMU doesn'thave enough what if migraine inducing matchups with Oregon!

Thank you. If they are taking punt return reps that's a good sign. Should be really ready to go by TTU.

Stewart is probably not going to be available this year even if we make the Natty, given that he's been rehabing for so long and is still not doing drills, let alone contact activities. That's a little disappointing, but getting Moore back on the field will be a significant improvement.

Getting ONE back of the three would make all the difference in the Playoffs.

Agreed, it feels like we only have 2 wide receivers on the field since Wisconsin.

I disagree as Johnson has been an awesome weapon when the linebackers are more focused on Sadiq. Also getting this depth back means we can spread the ball around more and run it more effectively as Uw stacked the box and negated our run game. TTU could do the same thing if we dont have reliable downfield passing. All love to Sadiq but he's not getting more than 15 yards before the ball comes his way, kind of the same with JMac. His best routes are 15-20 yards from LoS and usually to the outside, GBJ is phenomenal in the seam/slot area. Maybe I'm overthinking it but TTU scares me as much as Indiana defensively at least.

I said WIDE receivers. Agreed, Johnson is a great option as a tight end.

It would sure be nice to put 3 WRs out there that are all legitimate threats, rather than have one of the 3 that Moore rarely is comfortable throwing to as a tendency defenses can scheme against.

With regards to TTU, they have been phenomenal, but are the least tested team in the playoffs outside the G5 teams and has a 3 week break to get soft before getting hit by an offensive line significantly better than any they've seen to date.

I do agree that if they shut down our running game like they did against BYU it's going to be really important that Dante can handle the pressure they bring and get off good passes to our receivers, or else to could be trouble. Washington shut down our run game but was poor at generating pressure on Dante, which has been their weakness. TTU like Indiana can bring solid pressure on the QB, and is probably better at stopping the run. Could be a low scoring game.
