As we know...before the injuries, Benson was just a fill-in option, not necessarily one I had confidence in. Now? He is a TOUCHDOWN MACHINE, and the recovering receivers will have to earn their turn because being better than Benson right now--is going to be hard.

McClellan? An occasional target has now become a trusted WR who has proven to make TOUGH CATCHES. I won't say he will be a great receiver, because he is one NOW.

Benson is probably the punt returner for the remainder.

I also don't see either Benson or McClellan being benched for Bryant at WR. Bryant will work back into the 2 deep.

Dak Moore will work back into starter.

Let's see all four plus Sadiq spread out and running streaks, crosses and posts on the same play . . . and then count the broken ankles on D.

McClellan has two of THE best “almost” catches I’ve ever seen.

The “one handed pin against the helmet” catch in a prior game, and the over the back of the defender in this game.

They’ve earned being the “primary” receivers. They’re as good as any we e had in recent years.

As often happens with great players who are playing behind even greater players, when they get their chance they show what they can do. If we get everyone healthy Oregon has crazy depth at receiver. And guess what, we've got some really good ones coming for next year too.

Dan Lanning has the problem of how to feed all these great receivers. I do not know how you could justify replacing either Benson or McClellan from the starting line up. GO DUCKS!

Justius Lowe got his chances when Tez got hurt. He looked good out there, very good. But for some reason, he couldn't sustain it.

McClellan looks like a star, not a fill in. I think he wins a starting spot next year no matter who else is in there. He impressed me the most of all the Oregon receivers so far.

Davison is starting to look like Adrian Peterson, although he isn't quite there yet. He is young and his body is still developing. Give him another year or two and watch what he does.

Justius Lowe was a solid possession receiver but was not remarkable, IMO. He probably would have started/played significant snaps in Coach Bellotti’s days. I wish him luck at his new school.

Just goes to show you how much talent Oregon has now across the board.

It seems like our offense has become even more dynamic with McClellan and Benson in the starting roles. WS & DL are going to have to come up with an adaptive and creative plan for re-integrating Moore, Bryant and Stewart if they want to take our offense to the next level, or risk returning to our early season level. A great problem to have at this point in the campaign!
