So glad Mario didn't win one in Miami! Can't stand the guy after he lied to the team!

The fighting Mario's found a way!

I have to say Miami was pretty good. They played them way tighter than us or Bama.

I think in some ways Indiana didn't play their best game, and the refs weren't doing them any favors.

Congratulations Indiana. 3 in a row for the B1G.

342 yds Miami vs 317 Indiana

Indiana blocks a punt for a TD.

At the end, wins by six.

Indiana played their best game against us... Hats off to the champs. 2 years in a row we lose to the champs. Let's change that next year.

I really thought Miami would get blown out. Congratulations Indiana.

Hats off to them, first team in a long time to win without the big blue chip players. Building teams with a winning spirit is just as important as having the dudes.

I had a feeling he was going to try to press and end up making a risky throw.

Really good game. Mario's O was better than I thought it would be.

Good game and happy for result. Not sure that Miami was not the better team..

Indiana made multiple mistakes they did not make against us... Maybe Miami is that much better than us or Indiana just did not play their best game, I dunno.

I know we lost to Indiana twice... From what I saw tonight... we'd have lost to Miami also.

Look forward to next yr...

Go Ducks!

Can anyone confirm this? I've seen multiple people say that when Mario shook Cignetti's hand that he said, "fricken you"

Wouldn't surprise, but don't want to assume a falsehood

I CAN HEAR THE DRUMS, FERNANDO!

Hats off to the Hoosiers, Cig, Fernando, and whoever is writing CFB fiction in the home of the football gods.

And Forum Friend, Doctor J, you almost nailed it.

3-peat - Stop treating the middle of the SEC like show dogs and the middle of the B1G like dog meat.

OK, the final act in terrific OBD seasons was not Ducky, but OBD did lose to the College Football Champions, again. 🤬

Now, make sure that next season, The Trophy does not stay in Vegas, but heads to Eugene instead.

From the losingest team in CFB to a title in two seasons!

16-0 - Move over, Yale.

Indiana wore the same crimson jersey and white pants for the Rose, Peach, and CFP Championship. Colors are crimson and creme.

As I recall, the Ducks were in a combo of white jersey and gray pants for the games against Auburn, Ohio State and white pants for Indiana semi-final.

Oregon playing its best game could have beaten either of those teams.

Something to be said for a team that plays well together. Playing as a team is more important that the number of individual stars.

Miami had it at the end with plenty of time but they blew it. Indiana is really good at going after the ball on defense.

Indiana earned it by being the most complete team all season long.
