Posted February 12, 20223 yr Currently 16-7 with the following remaining regular season schedule. California @ Matthew Knight Arena Washington State @ Matthew Knight Arena Arizona State @ Tempe Arizona @ Tucson UCLA @ Matthew Knight Arena USC @ Matthew Knight Arena Washington @ Seattle Washington State @ Pullman I see at least 5 wins there!
February 12, 20223 yr Administrator Good topic ICAMEL! I see four wins on the low side and seven on the high side...so yes, I think we can get to 20 wins, but if it is just four wins...we would also have 11 losses at that point and double-digit losses never look good. Mr. FishDuck
February 12, 20223 yr Moderator Cal, is the only sub-.500% team on the schedule, so let's get to 17 today. It would help if USC beat UCLA tonight, making USC 10-4, ahead of UCLA, who would be, 9-4. Oregon would be alone in 2nd place at 10-3. WSU comes in for a game on Monday, before the Arizona trip.
February 12, 20223 yr The only two games that scare me on the remaining schedule are Tempe and Pullman.

February 12, 20223 yr Moderator It's good that the WSU game is on Monday. Get rid of the Cal game fast.

February 13, 20223 yr Dismal performance today. Couldn't shoot straight and no help from the big guys. Sigh.

If you were counting Cal it’s down to four wins. I’m seeing losses to both Arizona schools, hopefully a split at home against UCLA-USC, a win at home against Wazoo, and, hopefully a split with Wazoo and UDub on the road. So….best case, 3 wins. That would put them at 19-12…...and in the NIT. I hope I’m wrong.
February 13, 20223 yr The harsh reality is that the Ducks are too inconsistent to predict 20 wins, an NCAA invite, or any kind of run in the tournament.

February 13, 20223 yr Moderator If you are a football player, it's good to be in NYC after the regular season. But for a basketball player, not so much. Never know when this yo-yo will be on the down or up swing. This has to driving Altman nuts. Usually under Dana we see a steady trajectory of improvement from the beginning of the season on. Not this year. Edited February 13, 20223 yr by Jon Joseph
February 13, 20223 yr Moderator Two steps forward and an Evel Knievel rocket bike launch back. Yikes.
