Given what the article lays out, it would seem that Herbert didn't really care that much, though; he just wanted the Ducks to win, regardless of his role in the process. I can imagine one of the reasons Johnny Football thought about coming to Oregon, but decided to go elsewhere. He wouldn't have fit in. Nix fits in, Ty has a chance because he has some of the same traits. The new guy seems to have a bit of it.
