  2. If the bye teams get boat raced in the first half again this year, the pitchforks will be out for this schedule and we will moved to a 16 team schedule with no byes.
  3. The “Long-Layoff” monster just bit another! Hope Texas Tech gets a bite tomorrow…
  4. Started watching on ESPN2. Mac Affee was driving me and my spouse nuts. Fortunately we could change to ESPN and normal people talk.
  5. And just like that they force Sayin to make a bad read on a screen and a pick-6. Miami 14-0. Like Neil Young once sang, "Rust Never Sleeps". So great to see Bucknutt getting bit by it.
  6. HOLY CRAP!!! Pick six by Miami.
  7. Miami flat out beating tOSU at the LOS, something Mari⁰ would call out-physicaling tOSU's physicality.
  8. They have none so far. The only first down came on a pass to Smith. Miami is playing both sides well.
  9. Call me crazy, but I wish we were playing tOSU next instead of TT. The B12 hasn't looked bad in bowl games with lowly TCU (who got steamrolled by BYU, who got steamrolled twice by TT) beating USC (which is one of our better wins) and Utah rolling today. Not sure tOSU is that great.
  10. I had some other matters to attend to and JUST turned on this game. 7-0 Miami in the 2nd?? Really?? Where is OSU's offense??
  11. Miami scores on their third drive. 7-0
  12. "We've gotta be more physical and more violent." Same ol' Mario
  13. Miami is definitely "out-physicalitying" tOSU right now.
  14. Looks like some serious rust on Bucknut's side. Offense out of sync and Sayin having some accuracy issues. Tackling a bit of a problem too. If Miami didn't have the dropsies they'd be up by a score as they are moving the ball well.
  15. Although a lost fumble by Miami stalled what looked like a promising drive. 0-0 so far. After 2 possessions, tOSU has 1 first down.
  16. Today
  17. We shall see! I think TT is a very good team, but I’m not sure they have the depth on defense to beat the Ducks! I’m not educated enough on this matchup to give a strong opinion, but I think the Ducks will win the 4th quarter and the game!
  18. While I agree with Mike about passing in that 'Natty, I do feel I have to offer proof AGAIN that Barner made the bad decision on 4th down. The play call was fine, the blocking was there, but instead of running to the pylon....Kenjon ran right at their star DT Nick Fairley. The orange line/arrow is the path Barner took...it was HIS choice that defeated the play. (Yeah...I've kept a screenshot all this time because people keep getting it wrong)
  19. ***Ducks ***31-30…Automaticus with a walk-off fg from 47 yards out ***2 turnovers ***3 sacks ***288 yards, Ducks have balanced offensive attack and also rush for 214 yards Go Ducks!!!
  20. Yesterday
  21. Mike West I was sitting in the Fiesta Bowl at Glendale, AZ, January 10, 2011, watching OBD fail to score from inside the five yard line with three successive runs inside the tackles thinking exactly what you said about Chip’s play calling above.
  22. I think its going to be closer than comfortable.
  23. I don't either... I happen to believe the Red Raiders did their job winning the games they were supposed to. They do have a stout defense. It hasn't really been tested though. None of the teams they've faced are elite. I also believe Indiana changes the narrative about OBD. The response reminds me of all the talk about Auburn after they stuffed out running game. I will always believe that Chip was so bent on proving he could run in the Tigers instead of exploiting their weakness against the clear advantage OBD had passing that day In my mind Auburn was lucky he did, because OBD were by far the better team. We held the most explosive SEC team to 19 points ( in a conference known for its physical prowess) and had the opportunity to drop 30 plus if we had just passed the damn ball. The SEC and ESPN got away with a false narrative.
  24. It just 'means more' in the SEC. Unless you miss the playoffs, then it's "I'm opting out for NFL prep/the portal/mom's cooking"
