Great get, I hope he stays slimed down and plays at safety rather than bulking up to play line backer. It would be great to have someone who can compete with the big WRs and TEs that we've had trouble with in the past. - Today

A Shoutout From ESPN - Hmmmmmm. Oregon lands No. 1 safety Washington, nephew of Kobe Bryant - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Four-star prospect Jett Washington, ESPN's No. 1 safety in the 2026 class, announced his commitment to Oregon over Alabama and USC. -
recruiting these days isn't about incoming freshmen but incoming Redshirt Freshmen/Sophomores. If they are lifelong Duck fans but the coin is much greener, I don't blame them. You get one shot at generational money. Set your family up. But, when you have that first ridiculous payout, then consider the Ducks with a transfer, for a slightly lesser payout of course.

The 5-11 Model is Best for the ACC and B12. Thank goodness CFB has experts like Nicole Auerbach to help us out. However, Hats Off to the Big 12 for joining the B1G in not supporting the 5-11 format unless the SEC plays 9 conference games. (The ACC and the Pac-8? Who Cares?) National writer says SEC interest in 5+11 CFP model best for ACC CANESWARNING.COM In an article updating the stalled talks between the Big 10 and SEC regarding college football playoff expansion, Nicole Auerbach of NBC Sports says the 5+11 mo Greg Sankey and the SEC using the ESPN FPI rankings to support its superior strength of schedule isn't biased. After all, 'Baghdad Bob,' currently writing Op-Ed pieces for the National Enquirer, believes that It Just Means More !, and that Spanky, er, Sankey, is Spot On!

Worst case absolutely would be a L to "Google Me, I'm a Winner" Cignetti and his "emerging superpower, Indiana, at home, with "Shout" going? At Iowa is conceivable, as is a L to the Mutts with the fog horn in a worst case scenario. 10-2 worked out fine for the eventual champ, who's season ended with a L to their most hated rival. -

Worst Case, Sans Injuries - 10-2 - and a return to the Playoffs. Best Case - 13-0 - Playoff No. 1 seed, play the winner of No. 9 at No. 8 in the Rose Bowl. The winner of this 1st round game will not be the committee's 6th-ranked team. (And No. 9 seed had better not be the G6 representative.) Two opponents in the regular season with Blue Chip Rosters - Penn State and USC. No Michigan and no Ohio State on the schedule. From 2024 through 2028, 2025, on paper, is OBD's easiest schedule. 2027 sees OBD at Michigan, at Baylor, and at home versus Ohio State and Penn State. YIKES! A ton of roster turnover, only 5 starters return. But this is a 'make hay while the sun shines' schedule. BOB THEM CATS! -
For me, June is a favorite time of year as the summer is kicking in, concerts are aplenty, and I know we have three months of nice weather to enjoy as we slide into football season. It is easy to predict the best possible regular season outcome for the Ducks. That would be 12-0. Which, if the Ducks execute and ...
