  2. I was pleasantly surprised to see how deep our wide receiver room and tight end room truly are.
  3. Below are my initial observations: • Dante Moore was spectacular (90% completion rate on 30 passes for over 300 yards and 2 TDs). He was a little off early in the game and his receivers picked him up with some spectacular catches. As RGIII said, tonight he made all of the throws. Hopefully this gives him some confidence, after a few miserable weather games, heading down the final stretch. • Kenyon Sadiq and our receivers. Wow. That’s all I can say. They made some spectacular catches - diving, in traffic, dragging their toe to stay in bounds. I can’t wait until we start getting healthy but everyone stepped up tonight and showed that they can ball out. • The defense played extremely well, as always but still has some room to improve to be considered elite. For example, the one Minnesota TD drive where they got burned for some chunk yards against really good calls against the defense formations (e.g., the run to the side we blitzed from). The one field goal was on our offense as they turned it over on our side of the field. Our secondary needs to start picking the ball off. • Why were the Minnesota players chirping against a superior team and down a few TDs? I just don’t understand it.
  4. Since my step-Dad played for the Beavers until Pearl Harbor, I pretty much grew up surrounded by, as well as watching the beach rats play. I grew to like the Ducks in spite of that, which made some days of my youth more difficult to endure. When Dad's boss realized I was a Duck fan, he began sharing his donor seats with me and my friend, and later with my son. They were three rows back, around the 40 yard line, for quite a while. Im still watching!
  5. No way Beavis could afford to rent him, now!
  6. Oh, Oh, IO. A knock on Nico's noggin means he won't play in Columbus today. Is there a mercy rule in the Big Ten?
  7. I just wish I'd got it on video. It was pretty funny!

  9. The pigs i grew up around had good instincts, as good sense of smell, and a healthy appetite... you sniffed out a winner. Great guess!
  10. Well done, WK... & family. Way to start the lil dude off right!
  11. A bit of a reality check for Beavis that might fly under the radar. James Franklin is the leading candidate at VaTech as of today. That is probably a program Beavis would have considered themselves (incorrectly) better than 3 years ago. Franklin wouldn’t even give them a whiff now.
  12. Good thing…I was running out of emails for free trial accounts with Fubo 😆
  13. After a carriage dispute that lasted more than two weeks, YouTube TV and the Walt Disney Company have come to an agreement. The companies announced a multiyear distribution deal on Friday that will return ESPN and ABC networks to the streaming service. In a post on social media, YouTube TV said that ABC, ESPN, FX and other Disney channels will return to the service throughout the day.
  14. Dan Lanning Addresses Depth with Injuries After Beating MinnesotaThe Ducks were without several key wide receivers against the Minnesota Golden Gophers due to various injuries. 15. A game I missed in looking ahead to this week's games was an important G6 game that sees 25 USF at Navy, today at 9 AM on ESPN 2. The G6 rep will likely come from the American conference, and USF is the committee's frontrunner. Still wallowing in last night's game that was not wallowed in the mire.
  16. I can think of one TFL where Davison got completely drilled right after the handoff. It was an RPO and Moore made the right read to hand it off but sadly it was the right read because the play was already blown up and letting Davison take the hit was better than him taking the hit.
  17. Good catch, I didn't notice that. One thing I have noticed, which Indiana and ever school afterwards exploited, is that Dante doesn't do well when the right side of the pocket collapses. He's not comfortable throwing and struggles to slide to the left. Moving Pregnon to the right helped with that I guess. And psychologically I think he handles the unseen blind side pressure better than the front side pressure. I also think he showed in this game that he has improved on these weaknesses, there were sometimes when the pocked was shrinking fast and he didn't get happy feet. Although maybe that confidence is more a function of our WRs running free all over the place with very little tight coverage. Minnesota's secondary is horrible tbh.
  18. I thought they would try and run more and would not sling the ball around like they did. Moore and the skill players played fantastic. Two more to go.
  19. I was not surprised by the Ducks winning the game at home. Covering the spread against a team that has no fight on the road was no surprise, either. My surprises: A non raining Duck football game! Who knew........ Taking the opening kickoff and driving down the field to score. It has been awhile! Sadiq and Johnson getting 12 catches for 153 yards. Some of those were big catches on 3rd down for 1st downs. Where has that been most of this year? Benson and McClellan stepping up to get open and make some great catches. With Moore and Bryant out those wanting to prove themselves capable, did just that. And for the secong game in a row, DM is actively reading the D and calling successful audibles. These are areas that needed improving by the Ducks! And the results show that improvement. It does not bode well for the Trojans that the Ducks are improving and have an extra day to heal, plan and practice. Go Ducks. For this Duck fan beating the Trojans and then the bastard leg-lifters is the cherry on top......

  22. 5 major takeaways from Oregon Ducks' 42-13 blowout over Minnesota Golden Gophers A week ago, the Oregon Ducks demonstrated a lot of grit on the road, securing a tough 18-16 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes in a physical and grueling game played in inclement weather. Less than a week later, they almost proved just as much under clear skies at Autzen Stadium. With just five days of rest, and down 10 players due to injury, Dan Lanning's team shook off all need for excuses and put a rout on the visiting Minnesota Golden Gophers, 42-13, in a blowout game that left little in question from the opening drive on.
