Question: How did Iowa not have one penalty other than the illegal kick? How is that possible in a game like this? Someone really has to look at these refs. If Iowa had 2 or even one penalty I could take it, but NONE!?

Heck of a game by the green and yellow team! Won in spite of playing against 11 in black and gold teamed up with 5 in black and white stripes. 5 penalties for 57 yards against OBD, 1 penalty for zero yards against Iowa? wth??? The snap in Their final TD was snapped at least a half second after the play clock ran out. They even showed it on replay, and the snap was unquestionably after the zero came up. A win is a win, but my blood pressure can’t keep taking this abuse!

Moore dropped a perfect pass in the bread basket for Benson, who hauled it in for 24 yards to help set up a 39-yard game-winning field goal from Sappington, who finished three-for-three on the day. Oregon escaped Kinnick Stadium with a 18-16 win to move to 8-1.

Hard to overlook Whitingtons play. Guy was a beast.

A win in a tough environment on the road against a very good team. Kickers and special teams were not a weakness. Some key absences and injuries, but found a way.

MVPs are Sappington, Basso, and Ferguson-Reynolds! Moore was not good until that last drive. Credit where credit is due, he got it done when it counted most. They found a way, but that last defensive play will absolutely drive me insane that we had 4 in the box against a running QB!

The average of our score predictions for this game, rounded to nearest full point, has the Ducks winning 28-15. Just in case anyone gives a Damn.

I wasn't really against the idea of playing for a field goal, I just felt like it was a lot to ask a kicker who hasn't been shown to be reliable to kick a FG from 46 yards in the rain against the wind. He made it, so it was the right decision.

Clock management at end of half was abysmal. Good job by Sappington to get the field goal.
