  2. Texas still has better odds than OBD. How many more times do they have to hook themselves?
  3. Thanks, H Duck, for posting the AP Poll No. 17 Iowa is ranked behind No. 15 Vandy, of course. After the loss to Iowa, Vandy dropped two spots; Iowa did not move up from its ranking after the win over Vandy. No. 26 Illinois and No. 27 UW would be favored over the four G6 teams that finished in the top 25. As so noted above, OBD finishes No. 4, one spot ahead of Ohio State. 5. Becker became a major impact player through the season for Indiana. Some say he is the fastest WR in college and he's 6'3 and has no issue making contested catches. I was feeling pretty jealous until I realized we have Bair on our roster next year. Same speed, same height, same aggressiveness going after the ball on film. I really hope he blossoms through the season like Becker next year and becomes a key contributor on a run to the national championship.
  6. Mario and his merry men are doing it again. Not enough to have Big Ten Wisconsin suing you, why not bring on a suit from ACC 'friend' Duke? Miami was a pariah when Mario played there, and nothing has changed. On3Duke University sues QB Darian Mensah to keep him with fo....
  7. Michigan at home. Man if there is one thing Whittingham might regret most about taking this new job is having to play in Autzen again.
  8. This is the same place we finished in 2023 IIRC.

  11. Hey 1Ducker1, and I am happy to share with you. This is my third tie this year. The other two were for second place, so I am improving. Maybe I'll go buy a lottery ticket on my way to town for the BB game. It's taco Tuesday. 3 soft tacos for $5 and $4 Modelos at The Matt.
  12. 2026 Big Ten Football Schedule will be released on Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 2:30pm PT on the Big Ten Network. https://fbschedules.com/big-ten-football-schedule-2026-release-set-for-tuesday-january-27/ Oregon 2026 - dates revealed Jan. 27 Home: Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, UCLA, Washington Road: Illinois, Michigan State, Ohio State, USC Oregon 2026 non-conference 9/5 - Boise State 9/12 - at Oklahoma St 9/19 - Portland State

  14. Great post, NJ, thanks. Second overall, but No. 1 in Quality over Quantity. Fabulous Frosh showed up in Eugene last season. I hope we see more of the same this year. Of course, recruiting still matters, but last night, Cig, Fernando, and Indiana broke through the Blue Chip Roster Championship ceiling. A ceiling that was inviolate since the first BCS game in 1999. (There must be at least one window in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. How else could the Hoosiers have Defenestrated the Ducks? 🤬)
  15. Thank you, David. Whatever the secret sauce may be, I'm hoping next season ends with a bang and not a whimper. Last night, the Good Guys advanced into enemy territory and won. Why not OBD? Please?
  16. Hard to say.... Matayo was definitely not as good this year that last year in terms of the stat sheet. The backend of our defense felt pretty good for the most part... But was picked apart when QBs had time.
  17. The game was closer than I thought it would be but I knew one thing, I did not want Mario to win. I also figured it would be a slug fest. Im happy to share this with Red Eddy Green.
  18. After seeing Miami last night, pretty clear our pass rush was the biggest weakness this season imo. Mendoza with time = game over. Might have done it this year with more rush…I don’t know if it was scheme or an altered scheme reflecting personnel issues.
  19. Final score was 27-21 Indiana, as they created one turnover, one sack, and went for 186 yards passing. 1Ducker1 predicted 30-17 for a total of only seven points off. Red Eddy Green predicted 31-24 also for a total of only seven points off, thus they both tie on points. 1Ducker1 predicted two turnovers, and Red Eddy Green predicted three, thus the closest was 1Ducker1 who got this tiebreaker. Both OBD members predicted three sacks, and thus were tied in that tie-breaker category. 1Ducker1 predicted 290 passing yards by Indiana, while Red Eddy Green predicted 214 and thus won this tiebreaker. So here we are again....tied on points, and tied on tiebreakers, and the way we break the tie is with who entered the contest first....and that is... 1Ducker1! It is only right that the last contest of the year comes down to the thinnest of margins, just like so many of the games. Again....this is fun for all, and I do enjoy seeing all the participants of these contests, so thanks to ALL for being a part of it! Fantastic prediction by Red Eddy Green, and CONGRATS to 1Ducker1! They are READY to Party with the Winner!
  20. With Brandon Smith adding to the Ducks' 2026 recruiting class, Oregon has inched ahead of Alabama to retake the No. 2 spot in the 247Sports Composite national team recruiting rankings. The Oregon Ducks have once again claimed the nation's No. 2 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. A January commitment from Compsoite four-star running back Brandon Smith has pushed the Ducks from No. 3 to No. 2. Oregon flirted with the nation's No. 1 class around National Signing Day in December, but eventually slid from No. 2 to No. 3 after a surge from the Alabama Crimson Tide. Smith's addition brought the Ducks' 2026 class to 22 signed scholarship recruits in the high school/junior college pools that count toward Oregon's score.
  21. I'm gonna get my plane tickets now!!
  22. Refine and sharpen the offense.. Improve receivers’ fight for the ball. Improve penetration and pass rushing skills. Emphasize tackling and ball stripping techniques.
  23. This off-season feels different than previous years under Head Coach Dan Lanning. For the last three seasons, rematches have kept Lanning and the Ducks from a shot at their ultimate goal, and in the little media availability Lanning has had since Oregon’s loss to Indiana, it is clear Lanning is making some changes. Our Mr. FishDuck took a pause from ... Is Change Coming to Oregon
  24. Indiana is the No. 1 portal picking team and is bringing in a solid class of recruits.
  25. Ducks 9-1 with the chance to take down the preseason favorite Ohio State in Columbus. Ducks fans will be flocking to the 2026-27 champ game in Las Vegas.😁 https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/2026-cfp-national-championship-odds-ohio-state-notre-dame/
  26. Oregon playing its best game could have beaten either of those teams. Something to be said for a team that plays well together. Playing as a team is more important that the number of individual stars. Miami had it at the end with plenty of time but they blew it. Indiana is really good at going after the ball on defense. Indiana earned it by being the most complete team all season long.
