If this sleeper comes through, could be the difference between 5-7 and 7-5

Nico's a Bruin. BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL, Right?
No sweat. It is still fun, and a good example of how easy it is to do this... I noticed that the QB who was a superb passer, who signed with Oregon, but left to go to Cal has been named the starter. He'll be a good portal candidate in the future...

Wow, I didn't know they were headquartered on Montlake.

ESPN'S Top 100 Players and Some Sleepers
Au contraire my friend, I think he must have relatives (maybe even some that may work at ESPN)

National Perception: Oregon Has WORK to Do...
It is what it is. And will always be thus. Just win baby. Just win. Frankly, I don't care what they think. Except when we need votes for rankings purposes. The defense in the post season is still being held against us also. No doubt we will surprise a lot of so-called football gurus this season. Sco Ducks!!

It looks like that is fake news. Sorry for the misinformation everyone! I tried to remove but I am too late.

New (?) Metric for Playoff Committee to Use
Preseason SOS is guess work. The SOR ranking on 12/7/25, will be based on the PO Committee's final ranking. The SOR is all good IF the metric is truly unbiased. Anything out of ESecPN is suspect. Any metric the committee uses should be disclosed, including the programmer and the factors used by the metric. This sounds good in theory, but how does the metric rate a loss in the G5 compared to a loss in the Power 2? The committee's process being opaque and its subjectivity are one reason I like the B1G's 16-team, automatic qualifier proposal. Please explain how, in Hades, a G5 team with zero wins against the P4 was the ninth-best team in 2024? It looks like the metric could be akin to the CBB committee's Quad System? If so, and administered properly, including disclosing the results along with a weekly ranking, this could be good for CFB. If the SEC is behind this and uses it to stay at 8 conference games, we all better Duck. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/explaining-the-college-football-playoffs-new-strength-of-schedule-metric-and-the-secs-campaign-behind-it/

Nico's a Bruin. BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL, Right?
The announcement is not on the Bruins football site. I'm calling Horse Hockey! Tennessee fans invaded Ohio State (to no avail) and perhaps took over the On3 site?

ESPN'S Top 100 Players and Some Sleepers
Some of the sleeper picks seem pretty arbitrary. I mean, the Center at Wisconsin? Be sure to notify everyone when that happens, because no one will notice.

New (?) Metric for Playoff Committee to Use
Probably impossible not to have biases in the current system when a league (CFB in this case) has 136 teams in 10 conferences. We don’t even really have a balanced schedule within the B1G, let alone across CFB. Seems like we’ve gone full circle from BCS computers being the answer, to computers are evil, and now back to needing “unbiased” strength of schedule that throws out those pesky humans. My take on current reality? Be in a power-2 conference and win 10 games, or else win 11+ if you want some playoff expectations. Otherwise don’t have playoff expectations.

Ooou...an interesting story behind this lefty! What? From a smaller school, Taft set the OSAA single season record with a 0.09 ERA and was 3A pitcher of the year:

He is a shortstop and right-handed pitcher. Perfect game gives him a "10" and their rating system is below.

New (?) Metric for Playoff Committee to Use
This will be helpful for teams to schedule better teams, maybe help push the SEC to 9 conference games. But it's why I hate preseason prejudicial rankings. They influence mid-season rankings and make some teams look better for early wins, or now losses.

The First Time I've Questioned Justin Herbert's Judgment...
In the Manosphere, we refer to it as the "White Knight" trap that so many men fall into. Regardless of gender--you can only find happiness and healing within yourself, or find it by yourself. We cannot change others...

Some guys just prefer a fixer-upper. It makes them feel needed. The only problem is they'll never be truly fixed.

New (?) Metric for Playoff Committee to Use
All SoS and SoR metrics are biased. It is unfortunate, but that is just how they work. If they are going to use these metrics, they should use more than one to try and thin out the biases.
