Omigosh! Canzano was discussing HC candidates for Oregon State, and said that he would not be surprised if Stein and Lupoi got a phone call? Who Wouldn't Take That Call?

ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles
Cheer up my Duck brethren. That article might well have done us a favor. Funny thing about fertilizer...it often has a knack for making the grass even greener. Almost makes me wonder if it was paid for... 🤔

***QUACK!!!*** Three Star WR Hudson Lewis Flips to Oregon!
He was the Idaho State Champion in the 100 meters as a junior. Solid straight line speed gives him a decent chance to see the field.

Oregon Moves Up to No. 7 in CFP Rankings
SWEET. As Charles noted, Illinois is No. 21 and will be favored to win at Wisconsin on Saturday and then at home vs Northwestern. No. 18 Michigan should win at Maryland Saturday, and if not blown out by Ohio State, stay ranked on 12/7 at 9-3. USC at 15th is also great for OBD. Even with a loss Saturday, a 3-loss SC should remain in the top 25 next week and in the final top 25 at 9-3 with a win over UCLA. No. 13 Miami would be the 11 seed and No. 24 Tulane the 12th seed. No. 11 BYU and No. 12 Utah would be knocked out, and Bama at No. 10 would be on the PO cusp with a game left at Auburn. One ACC and one B12 team would be in the 2025-26 PO field. If the 12-team field continues in 2026-27 and the chips fall the same way, as is likely, by not supporting Petitti's format, the ACC and B12 would miss out on millions of dollars plus PO play-in game dollars. Notre Dame would be in the field as an at-large team if it finishes in the top 16. Why is Notre Dame opposed to the AQ format? December 1st is the latest date a new PO format has to be agreed to, or it's 12 teams next season. However, if back-channel negotiations are going on, I expect ESPN and TNT would extend the 12/1 date. Wake Up! Sankey's 5-11 format is good for the SEC, and that's all.

ESPN jumped the shark about 15 years ago. They should go back to showing darts and billiards and drop every talking head opinion shoutdown show. More ESPN Ocho!

Oregon Moves Up to No. 7 in CFP Rankings
It can be fun to speculate on matchups but the final poll will not look like this one. I guess I've gotten old (61) because I currently only care about us winning our next two games and getting into the playoffs. Who we play is not as important as making sure we are part of the field. Unfortunately with the narrative that the selection committee and ESPN is spinning we must win our last two games. I realize that OBD will probably be 1-3 spots below were we deserve to be in the final rankings.

Oregon Moves Up to No. 7 in CFP Rankings
This is almost perfect. Since we aren't getting a bye, I want the 7 or 6 seed, anything to stay away from tOSU, I would love another shot at Indiana.

Oregon Moves Up to No. 7 in CFP Rankings
This would put us opposite Ohio State, and in the Indiana side of the bracket. Six or seven is what I'd like, and it was nice to see Illinois make the top 25 for six Big-10 teams. (Of course the SEC has nine! Right)

Oregon and USC Need a Rivalry Trophy
On the USC side of the trophy, can it say “we love living in the past” and list all their awards from the leather helmet days? USC has only beaten Oregon once in the last 13 years.

No thanks. I don’t want to give USC the dignity.

ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles
"These are the teams that look great on paper until you force them to respond to adversity," the description for the fragile teams tier read. "They fade in the second half, shrink in the fourth and survive games but don't control them." "Oregon was listed as a fragile team. Her reasoning: "Early execution, but late-game anxiety." Thank you Pamela, for giving Dan Lanning excellent bulletin board material.

***QUACK!!!*** Three Star WR Hudson Lewis Flips to Oregon!
Considering that Oregon has already secured the No. 3 and No. 20 receiver in the nation in the 2026 class already....they must really see some upside with this player.

***QUACK!!!*** Three Star WR Hudson Lewis Flips to Oregon!
oregonliveOregon flips 3-star receiver Hudson LewisOregon added a third receiver to its 2026 recruiting class.Coach Ross has been working on him for a while so this isn't unexpected. At 5'10" and 175 lbs I view him as a slot receiver and depth addition more than anything. However he has the high school stats to show that he could eventually develop into something more.

ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles

Ducks VS Them 2025 Week 10 - Minnesota "In The Dark"
Not to throw shade on a 90% game, but Mendoza has had three of them this season. 22/24 = 91.6 (Wisc), 21/23 = 91.3 (Ill)& 19/20 = 95% (Ind St). Hard to believe this is Oregon's first ever.

ESPN Analyst Calls Oregon Ducks a Fragile Team' Due to Supposed Late Game Struggles
And yet, Texas A&M is not considered "fragile" even though they had to squeak out a miraculous 1 point victory over a hapless 3 & 6 SC team? This writer is not only clueless, she is blatantly biased.
