Is the Label "New-World Pac-12" Cringy, Delusional, or Hilarious?
I was unaware of the PAC-12 recruiting rankings so I looked it up. Here are the results: The rankings are identical with the exception of San Diego St. and Texas St. 247 Sports Boise St Colorado St. Fresno St. San Diego St. Texas St. Utah St. OSU WSU ON3/Rivals 1. Boise St. 2. Colorado St. 3. Fresno St. 4. Texas St. 5. San Diego St. 6. Utah St. 7. OSU 8. WSU

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
There was Armstead and Buckner in 2015, when they disappeared against OSU2 in the title game.
-
These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Perhaps Hyloti Nyata & Devon Long on the 2004 roster come close, but I think/hope the 2026 d-line is going to be more dominant!
-
These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Thanks, David. A lot of talent on the 2026 roster. I'd add the already-impactful DL players A'Mauri Washington and Bear Alexander. When, if ever, has OBD had two potential All-Americans on the interior of the D-line?
-
These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Let's not forget Evan Stewart. Having missed the entire season in 2025 because of injury, he will officially be playing his "sophomore" season with OBD. With the plethora of talent we'll have in the receiving and tight end corp, I think ES is going thrive on blown coverages and missed assignments!
-
These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Yeah Finney is going to be huge next year. He'd count for sure. I also left off Dante and Dakorian. So much of this roster is young first year starters who are going to have big impacts next year.
-
These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Yeah I had him on my list and I would count him. He is going to play a big part of this offense next year.

2026 BIG Info, Predictions, Etc.
10 Explosive Os in 2026, including OBD at No. 5. Week 2 opponent, Oklahoma State, comes in at 10. Hmmmmmmm? All that love for the Golden Archie and Texas again?🤔 Just Sayin. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-footballs-offenses-2026-texas-miami-portal-hauls/

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
Brandon Finney? I assume he was left off the list because he was already an All American, but it would be quite the disappointment if he doesn't have a "monster second season" next year.

State of the College Football Union - ESPN's Bill Connolly Weighs In
ESPN's Bill Connolly is the creator of the SP+ college football rankings and one of today's top college football (CFB) journalists. Bill's article on the state of college football is an excellent look at how CFB morphed into what it is today: chaotic but more popular than ever. Connolly also suggests how to fix what ails CFB today. With many conflicting agendas, a fix will not be quick or easy. Bill advises that CFB should be wary of further CFB consolidation. If a CFB Super League had come to fruition in 2023, forget Indiana, Fernando, and a smoking hot Cig. Consolidating power and access could eliminate the thrill of that growth.

Massive Loss: Let's Remember 30Duck, an OBD Member and a Great Duck-Buddy
Dear SantaRosaDuck -- 80 years old and crushing it! Way to go and way to take as much control of your health as possible. Your comments and experience are truly inspiring & just so encouraging. And your 5 keys/points to longevity absolutely nail it. I think the one aspect out of the five that especially surprises people is how critical sleep is to our overall health. It's only been in the last 5 years that I've come to learn this. I used to view sleep as an inconvenience as I just had no idea regarding the healing powers that take place when we consistently get 7 to 9 hours of sleep a night. And that is something that doesn't cost us a penny and the return is off the charts amazing. For those interested in learning more, Stanford's Andrew Huberman has an fabulous podcast and has done a few episodes on sleep. One of my favorites is with sleep expert Matthew Walker, PhD, who has an excellent book out titled, "Why We Sleep." Best wishes to all for a long and healthy Duck life! GO DUCKS!!

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
I don't know if he qualifies since he had a big second half of the 2025 season, but I would count Jamari Johnson in this list. I considered him a starter as his role was expanded along with the rest of the TE room when so many WRs were injured and Stein had to run a lot of 12 personnel. He will now be the #1 TE and I think he will be a nightmare matchup for most LBs and 'delta' safeties, even if he isn't quite as gifted athletically as Sadiq is.

Massive Loss: Let's Remember 30Duck, an OBD Member and a Great Duck-Buddy
Dr. EastBayDuckDad -- Thanks so much for your excellent comments that come from direct experience not only as a person, but as a surgeon. Yes to everything you shared. I will say, however, that my calcium score came out pretty healthy, even though I had major league problems going on. But most people I know who've had the calcium test done, have had a very accurate score. And, as you pointed out, the test is quite affordable. But, that non-invasive, 60 minute, cardiac stress test is awfully thorough, even though it's more expensive. I just cannot recommend it enough, if a person has the resources to pay for it. About 3 years ago, my super health younger brother had a massive Widowmaker and immediately died. I know you would agree that especially if cardiac disease runs in a person's family, don't screw around. Do yourself, your wife, your family, and your friends a favor and get tested, and get healthy again. As Charles is also pointing out, we have way more control regarding being healthy than most of us choose to believe.

Bill Moos Wanted Chip Over Frost
The advantage for Oregon changed when the NCAA changed the breakneck speed of the game due to some serious whining from an SEC Head Coach that will remain nameless, Ick-Nay Aban-Say. Only took about 5 years to dismantle Oregons coaching advantage.

These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters
2025 was a year of mixed expectations. As fans we expect a lot from our team and knew we had some real talent on our hands this past season, but the problem was that we had a lot of young talent. In the end, that youth was beat out by a team of veterans. In 2026, these young guns are ... These Ducks Will Have Monster Second Seasons as Starters

Au Contre, I really like it. It differentiates that stupid crappy faux conference from the beloved Pacific 8 / 10 & 12.
