  2. Rece Davis hypes up Oregon-USC Big Ten title eliminator game with surprising predictionRece Davis hypes up Oregon-USC Big Ten title eliminator g...The loser of the Oregon-USC game is all but effectively out of the Big Ten title race, which excites ESPN's Rece Davis despite not calling the game this Saturday. CBS gets the honors on game day.
  3. Nice history lesson Darren! It’s an entertaining bonus to be the “little brother” that (unlike Beavis) can annoyingly out do “big brother” at his own game. Flushing the Troylets is a gift that keeps on giving.
  4. OBD has the No. 1-ranked pass defense in the nation. The best passing offense OBD has faced is No. 22 Rutgers. Most of OBD's opponents to date have been passing game impaired. USC comes into Autzen with the No. 10 pass offense. OBD's red zone defense has been Code Red, missing in action. SC's O is 9th in Red Zone scoring. Run Game - OBD 2336 Yds - 9.4 per rush/ USC 2418 Yds - 8.7 per rush Both teams are being cagey regarding injured players. Safety Kamari Ramsey is a key player for SC. It is uncertain whether Ramsey, starting guard Elijah Paige, and RB Waymond Jordan will be able to play. As to OBD's wounded, fingers crossed. Trash the Trojans!

  6. There is a church camp, Camp Myrtlewood, near there, I used to joke with people when giving directions that you go 5 miles past Remote and turn left (literally).
  7. My guess is the opposite team than Kirk Herbstreit picks.
  8. Three of their four ranked wins cam against Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Missouri. The 7th, 8th, and 9th ranked teams in the SEC. Out of these three teams, only Vanderbilt has a ranked win...against Missouri. Tennessee and Mizzou have no ranked wins to go with their three losses. Yet, they're still ranked so they can keep the likes of Alabama in the playoff hunt. This is the perfect example of the SEC being a self-licking ice cream cone.
  9. Posted by Jon Joseph: OK, it's a publicity stunt that would not be OK with Sooners fans; Bet MGM has released putative first-round odds for PO games if this week's rankings were final. Bet MGM had to turn away dozens of fans who tried to place bets. 🤪 12. Tulane at 5. Texas Tech (-29.5). For however long the current PO format remains in place, the 5 seed should have a walkover 1st round game. This is not college basketball. Earlier this season - Ole Miss 45 - Tulane 10. Tulane did defeat Northwestern. With a 2nd round game close to a certainty, would Coach McGuire keep his starters in, including brittle QB Behren Morton, and run up the score? I'd take the points. 9. Notre Dame (-4.5) at 8. Oklahoma. Oklahoma rarely loses in Norman and has a terrific run defense. I'd sooner take Oklahoma and the points. 10. Alabama at 7. Oregon (PK) - DeBoer vs. Danno, in December, in Autzen, what more could we ask for? Alabama cannot run the football. Oklahoma, without its best edge rusher, kept Bama QB Ty Simpson under pressure he hadn't seen since the opener vs. FSU (🙃) and forced three turnovers. The Bama passing game was sharp, the Tide had 200 more yards on offense than the Sooners, but the absence of a run game and short fields for the Oklahoma offense made the difference. EX: A for this Committee making it up as they so choose, Alabama with four wins over top 25 teams, including a road win at No. 4 Georgia, being dropped from 4th to 10th, and on the PO cut line. If this were the opening line for this matchup in Autzen, I expect, depending on the power of the Bama brand, the line would move in favor of OBD. Accordingly, I'd place a bet on the Ducks ASAP. 11. Miami at 6. Ole Miss (-4.5) - Will Kiffin be coaching Ole Miss? If not, would the Committee, based on the Rebels' rather thin resume, keep the team at No. 6? I never discount the ability of Mari-oh-oh to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. But Miami has the roster to match up with and win in Oxford, if Carson Beck throws to his teammates and not to Ole Miss DBs. Ole Miss won a home game this season by 3 points over Wazzu. I'd gulp while taking Miami and the points. EX: B - No. 9 Notre Dame is 8-2. No. 14. Miami is 8-2. 8/31/25 - Miami 27 - Notre Dame 24. But - "Notre Dame has better losses, and we haven't compared Miami and Notre Dame head to head because the teams are not in the same grouping." 🤑🤮 Please, bring on an AQ format and kick the Committee to the curb. PS - Commissioner Yormark, do you not understand that No. 11 BYU and No. 12 Utah would be out of the PO field in favor of 11 seed Miami, or another ACC representative, and 12 seed Tulane or another G6 representative? Commissioner Phillips, would you prefer having two ACC teams qualify or for your conference to serve as cannon fodder for a Notre Dame program that refuses to share? Ruin Riley!
  10. They whined when they lost to OBD. They whined when OBD received an invite to join the B1G. As Dad and Grandpa used to say, "I'll (OBD) give you something to cry about!", or better yet, "CRY MY HAND FULL!" There is a special feeling drinking Trojan Tears! Come to think on it, "CRY MY HAND FULL!", Would make a great GameDay sign!
  11. I know! I need to stop holding things in. 😀

  13. I like this, sounds like something I would write: "Now that OBD's are in the BIG, your trifecta of disappointment is complete!"

  16. Oregon Ducks WR Dakorien Moore to be featured in '5-Star' Paramount documentary seriesWhen true freshman Oregon Ducks wide receiver Dakorien Moore stepped foot in Eugene, his star power was impossible to ignore. As the No. 1 rated wide receiver in the 2025 class, and one of the most coveted recruits in the nation, it was clear that this 18-year-old had a high ceiling and was hopeful to become a future first-round pick in the NFL after being developed at Oregon. It appears his star power is just starting to grow, though. 5 Stars. 4 Journeys. One Game-Changing docuseries streaming December 2, on Paramount+. #5StarPPlus
  17. I don't care what uniforms they wear as long as the recruits (and players) are bought in, I'm all good!
  18. I always thought these looked a little too brownish. I prefer the forest green of yesteryear.
  19. Oregon ready for the challenge against Big Ten's top pass catcher in USC's Makai Lemon Oregon will face a stiff test this week when it hosts the Big Ten's top pass catcher and pass offense when USC rolls into town.
  20. Bear Alexander found his home at Oregon, and the Ducks found a run-stuffer on the inside Defensive tackle Bear Alexander has thrived at his third school. After stops at Georgia and USC, Alexander has upped his game while with the Oregon Ducks in 2025
