  2. Thank you Darren! What a beautiful dream!
  3. There’s a new era underway in Eugene, Oregon — and it’s being led by two rising stars who share the same last name and sky-high expectations. Double Trouble: Dante and Dakorien Moore are Oregon's Next Superstar Duo

  5. I would argue it's almost all tied to Penn State prep. By Sep 27, Oregon will have played 4 games, 3 against Power 5 opponents (counting the Beavers). Penn State will have only played 3 games and none against Power 5 programs. Penn State also has a bye before Oregon, so twice as much time to prep. Thus it makes sense for Stein to give them way too much to digest, open up the playbook, provide multiple looks and cause them to prep for the "wrong" things. I honestly don't think a bye this early in the season is an advantage, after this week's game against Villanova, they don't have another game to work out the kinks with their new DC and coaches and players (and Drew Allar), I think that hurts PSU. Penn State will have only played Nevada, FIU and Villanova. What are your thoughts? Is a bye an advantage after only playing 3 lower tier teams?
  6. I start this article by admitting to failure. My search for something interesting to talk about for Oregon’s upcoming game against Northwestern came up empty. The Ducks should roll over the Wildcats the same way they destroyed Montana State and Oklahoma State. Oregon’s Home Away From Home
  7. It would have been more than just an amazing block. On Nov 17, 2012, Dakorien would have been 5! (Sorry couldn't resist) 🙂🙂
  8. I am sure there will still be a few growing pains here and there. I am more worried that DM is going to be so good (with a so far mixed predicted NFL QB draft class) that the NFL is going to come hard at him. Before the first snap, a good season and a return for 2026 seemed a possibility. Already it seems much less likely.
  9. Thanks! I didn’t know it changed.
  10. That is from the past....we don't know if that is available for this year.
  11. Note it is NOT the winged yellow helmet, I like both, but I gotta know--do we have more than one green helmet?
  12. Oh yeah...us old farts love the classic look with our traditional colors! Gary Bryant Never Looked so Good... Beautiful Ducks Forever! Traveling in Style!
  13. I was wondering how he would do. At UCLA he was a frosh and the comfort he played with in high school changed as the high D1 college game was so much faster than high school. A lot of good football players struggle as a college freshman, especially QBs. I am tickled pink with his play through the first two games. He has been poised, comfortable in the pocket and rolling out or scrambling a bit to buy time. He has a great arm, but has also been throwing with some touch when needed and he's a big, strong, fast runner who can do some damage with his feet when needed. In all likelihood the Ducks are 4-0 traveling out to out in the middle of nowhere valley and facing Penn St. Watching the Nittany Lions the first two weeks I haven't been that impressed actually. Let's just say they seem to have a lot of Mario Cristobal in them. Oregon looks bigger, faster, stronger and deeper on both sides of the ball. The one question mark for the Ducks pre-season was Dante Moore, if he continues to play at a high level and even improves from week to week, I believe he will be up to the Penn St. challenge and beyond. Go Ducks!
  14. Having the 4 Pac12 teams play eachother makes obvious sense to mitigate travel distances as much as possible for everyone in the B1G. They need to figure out how to make that happen.
  15. Come on Back 30! Mike West, please post whenever your schedule allows. Are the Dog and DiNardo brothers from a different mother? The nose knows.
  16. KK, this is the perfect schedule for a team returning 4 starters and breaking in a new QB. Hopefully, OBD parlays this into a deep PO run and perhaps ... 😍
  17. with this depth how do you cut to 74 players to go on the road?

  19. I like the fact that the playbook seems open. However, I'm assuming that we will see different plays out of some of the formations that have been used around 9/27. I remember talking to a remember of the 94 Rose Bowl team. The first play from scrimmage was a formation that Penn St. used a lot all year. However, they ran a different play out of it, the Ducks were out of position and the only thing that stopped Ki-Jana Carter was the end zone 83 yards later.
  20. Honest, I didn't see this article at Autzen Zoo before my post. It is nice to see others in the media are thinking the same way. 21. Motivated by last year's poor start, this Oregon O-Line looks the part early Offensive line play wasn't up to standard through two weeks last season. This year's group has been significantly better to this point. Why's that? Iapani Laloulu weighed in on Wednesday.
  22. These Ducks are different: Dak is not DATIt might surprise some fans to know that Moore is actually faster than Thomas was as a Duck. Thomas' best time in the 100 meters was 10.52. Moore ran a 10.4 as a prep. He's bigger, too. Dakorien is listed at 5-11, 195. Thomas was 5-8, 176.
