  1. Past hour
  2. We are so fine that we ran out of time to play the 5th QB, who's no slouch - Akili Smith Jr!
  3. I’m as happy as can be seeing Bama lose, but I’m surprised DeBoer is struggling so much there.
  4. Ba ba fans are crying in their beers. The SEC ( we are the best) beacon is getting dim.
  5. "If you're good enough, you're old enough, right?" Diaper Dandies on Display. So great to see.
  6. I LOVE the size/height in the secondary. Finally looks like a legit group.
  7. Oregon's pass game showcased its depth, versatility and big-play ability in week one win over Montana State The Oregon passing attack features a number of new faces, but the Ducks appear to have more depth and the same big-play ability as in years past. Oregon's running back depth lives up to preseason hype in win over Montana State The Oregon running back room was touted as being as deep as it has ever been during the Dan Lanning era, and on Saturday, they showed just how real the hype is. True freshman tracker: Two frosh start, 12 play and Jordon Davison sets a school-record Oregon started two true freshmen, played 10 more and running back Jordon Davison ran for three touchdowns, the most ever by a Duck frosh in a season opener.
  8. Thanks guys! Got lucky on this one. Very nice game! Lots to go over. Excited for all your articles in the next couple days.
  9. Agreed. Not only at the quality starters and rotation players during the first half but also the minimal drop off In intensity and execution by the players (whom most I did not recognize the names of) into the fourth quarter. Might have been able to start an "all freshman" unit and still would have been competitive. If this level of depth and player passion continues as the season progresses...well let's just say the possibilities are promising. Now on to game two. Beatdown time for some 'pokes. GO DUCKS!
  10. Today
  11. 247 reports that two freshmen started, (Dak Moore & Brandon Finney) and 12 played, which is more than the one of last year!
  12. Gotta put a smile😀 on your face for the future of OBD!! This kind of young depth is essential for a deep playoff run. The DEPTH I saw today was awesome! The difference between #1 and #3 is almost miniscule! The more DL can get these young men playing now, the better they (and OBD) will pay dividends in a long season.
  13. I recognize that some were probably held out due to nagging injuries, but the freshmen did not play very much like freshmen, IMHO. The speed and size of so many is incredibly impressive, and it is apparent that the last two recruiting classes had players that are going to jump players on the depth chart that have been here longer. I was very surprised to see a true freshman, (Dak Moore) AND a RS freshman in Jeremiah McClellan start at receiver. They jumped a ton of players such as transfer Malik Benson, and veterans such as Justius Lowe and Kyler Kasper. I was blown over seeing RS freshman DT Tionne Gray starting over Bear Alexander, and LB Jerry Mixon starting over Devon Jackson. (Held out because of injuries?) In the secondary--you could have knocked me over with a Duck Feather when true freshman Brandon Finney started at corner, joined by RS Freshmen Aaron Flowers and Ify Obidegwu in the secondary along with senior transfer from Ole Miss, Jadon Canady and Purdue transfer Dillon Thieneman. We saw true freshman Na'eem Offord play a ton, along with RS freshman Kingston Lopa. I did not expect to see this many, especially in the first half, and was impressed with how talented they are. I've never witnessed this much talent assembled at Oregon before...whew! That's not even counting the freshmen running backs...like Jordan Davison!
  14. Yeah, we're fine at that position, really overall that game was about as good as it could have possibly got, tons of players getting time, executed in all phases of the game.
  15. I’m actually pulling for the son of the Lakeridge Pacer who’s under center for LSU.
  16. I think the guy who got benched by Chip Kelly played pretty good.
  17. Here's a full transcript from Oregon head coach Dan Lanning's postgame press conference following the Ducks 59-13 win over Montana State on Saturday. 18. Oregon scored on every meaningful possession against a top 5 FCS team. That doesn’t happen too often. I don’t care how good you are or how bad they are. So far, so good.
  19. What impressed me was BALANCE and DEPTH! 253 yards on the ground and 253 yards in the air! We got to see 4 different players at QB, 2 of whom threw and completed (#5 and #16) at least one pass for 253 yards. (and yes, Dante looked like the real deal!) Twelve Ducks got at least one carry for 253 total yards. Seven were running backs (#6, #23, #0, #27, #21, #20 and #22), three were QB (#5, #10, and #12), and two were receivers (#1 and #18). Between them, they had a 6.5 yards per carry average Ten Ducks (#4, #22, #3, #2, #1, #18, #11, #14, #17, and #20) got to catch at least one pass for 253 yards. Between them, the pass catches averaged 10.1 yards per catch! All in all, the Duck offense had 10 possessions and scored 9 TD and 1 FG. Zero punts. Defensively, twenty-eight Ducks got one or more tackles and one or more passes defended! Two had 5 tackles, three Duck Defenders had 4 tackles, and four has 3 tackles! #10 started his season right with 2 sacks, and #32 has a sack as well! The Defense combined for 7 TFL! The same defense that held MT St to 17 first downs and 244 total yards. Pretty good showing for a first outing. They can feel better about themselves than Texas, Alabama, Kansas St., Boise St., or Illinois feel about their opener!

  21. Finebaum is probably in the fetal position under the kitchen table...
  22. O so sweet! Overrated Bamma looked like the number 45th team in the nation not number 8. Let the whining, crying and excuses fly.
  23. Mr. Ca$tellano$ ca$he$ his check$! Who played better? Archie, Ty is the guy Simpson, or 'Saban isn't there to save them anymore,' Castellanos?😍 This guy was benched by Bill O'Brien at BC? HUH? Great win for Mike Norvell and the ACC.
