  1. I'm surprised that most Oregon forums nowadays dislike the idea of moving to the Big Ten.
  2. Indeed, I want Oregon to join the Big Ten, but mostly because of the new matchups against teams like Michigan or PSU.
  3. The three (or technically six) consecutive Big 12 matchups were scheduled around the same time as the Georgia kickoff game, I know there's still some sour memories of that UGA game, but I'm still heavily supporting the idea of Oregon scheduling a SEC home and home series in the 2030's
  4. I still heavily hope an SEC team gets as brave as Tennessee was in 2010 and 2013 and finally schedules the Ducks, if we get Bama vs. UO (even as a post-season game), I'll die a happy man.
  5. After nearly 2 years, we got a future schedule update involving UO, the bad thing is that it involves a FCS team... https://fbschedules.com/oregon-adds-eastern-washington-to-2027-football-schedule/
  6. I don't understand why people here think Alabama is afraid of Autzen Stadium, Alabama is literally a powerhouse and considering they have scheduled a series with Ohio State makes me think they would be fine with visiting Autzen, but man, I still hope Bama vs. UO happens someday, maybe it will happen in the expanded playoffs?
  7. I still can't believe Rob wasted the chance of scheduling more relevant programs by scheduling THREE CONSECUTIVE Big 12 opponents! I hope that Oregon schedules a home and home series with an SEC team, hopefully Alabama in 2035-36.
  8. BTW, since I'm not subscribed to John Canzano's site, I can't see what did Mullens say about the non-conference schedules.
  9. I know this is a topic that has been repeated quite a lot on here but considering that today John Canzano spoke with Rob Mullens and somehow got asked about Oregon's non-conference schedules really is something. As far as we know, Oregon's future P5 non-conference foes are Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Michigan State and Ohio State, I do understand that those opponents shouldn't be understimated and would be fun matchups, especially in Ohio State's case because they are among the most legendary programs in the country, but I feel there's something...off. The fact that we have three consecutive series' with the Big 12 really unsettles me, considering that the conference doesn't have a lot of exposure when compared to the SEC, Big Ten and maybe even the ACC, whom we've rarely played against with, all those matchups except for Ohio State were scheduled nearly 5 years ago and we've barely gotten any sort of news about Oregon scheduling foes that aren't G5 or FCS opponents, in fact, the most recent news about the program's schedule was in December 30, 2021, when it was announced Oregon scheduled Hawaii in 2031. I know there's still some bitter memories over the game against Georgia, but in my opinion, Oregon shouldn't shy away from programs like those and focus on bringing challenging opponents to Eugene, and with the expanded playoffs, you have a much easier chance competing for one of the 12 spots. In my opinion, scheduling a team like Alabama and Clemson in the future wouldn't hurt a bit, and I think those would be extremely fun matchups due to the simple fact they're never-before-seen matchups with two of the NCAA's most prestigious CFB programs. But, what's your opinion on the Ducks' non-conference schedule? Go Ducks!
  10. I hope that the new scheduling model with Oklahoma and Texas doesn't kill the chances of an Oregon vs. Alabama game being scheduled in the future. Now, seriously speaking, I find it weird how Nick Saban changed his mind and wants the original 8-game scheduling model to stay.
  11. I still want the Ducks to finally make it to the College World Series, they did appear once in 1954 tho.
  12. I don't know why but I feel I'm one of the few Oregon fans who does care about the baseball program, I'm glad that we have shown signs of improvement and winning a conference title after a 60 year drought feels extremely nice. Our next goal is finally making the College World Series after the 1954 appearence.
  13. I know I won't sound extremely professional with this, but I've seen reports by someone named David Hale saying that the ACC has spoken to SMU, West Virginia, Oregon and Washington, the first two choices are understandable (especially in WVU's case), but seeing Oregon and Washington become USC and UCLA 2.0 in terms of travel costs would be extremely weird for me and probably all CFB fans. I've had an unpopular opinion here that says that Oregon and Washington should join the Big Ten to at least be in a much more stable conference with more resources and to help USC and UCLA with reducing travel costs, plus getting more prime-time matchups in national TV, but as time goes on, I'm feeling the chances of moving there are getting worser. While it is likely UO and UW will consider secondary options if they want to leave the Pac-12 and the Big Ten isn't available, I truly don't know what option is the "best" between the ACC and the Big 12 (I really doubt the SEC will want to take any Pac-12 teams due to them wanting to stay regional, despite most of the Pac-12 having higher academic rankings than the SEC), I would personally like the ACC better due to more unique matchups and surpassing the Big 12 in various aspects, but the ACC may disband soon, it's too far away and the Big 12 will probably stay perfectly fine, even tho I don't want the Ducks near the Big 12 (We have three consecutive home and home series' scheduled with Big 12 teams so no thank you). But if we were to move conferences, which conference is the best choice?
  14. I still don't know why most people here want the Ducks to stay in the Pac-12...
  15. I still want the Ducks to leave for the Big Ten but seeing how much of a mess the Pac-12 is right now makes me feel horrible, while I heavily support the move for greener pastures, I'll still miss the conference Oregon played in for more than century.
  16. I still hope that the Ducks get a spot in the Big Ten even if that's unpopular among people here, I would love new matchups against teams like Penn State or Iowa.
  17. I would love an Oregon vs Alabama spring game, even tho Alabama is much tougher than Ohio State. Either way I would love to take on both.
  18. We'll just have to wait and see what he will say about potential additions of new teams, I really hope Oregon is included and that we have exciting games against our new B1G foes as well as USC, UCLA and (hopefully) Washington
  19. Still hoping he somehow brings Oregon and Washington to the Big Ten.
  20. UPDATE: The Big Ten's new commish will apparently be someone named Tony Petitti, I don't know if he will be able to bring Oregon and Washington to the Big Ten, I know that most here want the Pac-12 to survive but I sadly don't think it will...
  21. Apparently the Big Ten is in the final stages of it's commissioner search, according to some people who reported the ACC's commissioner staying in there. They say an annoucement could be done as soon as this week. Hopefully Oregon does manage to go to the Big Ten even if Kevin Warren isn't there anymore...
  22. Yeah I know about all those matchups, but I meant ones that haven't been announced but that Oregon is discussing rn. Either way, thanks for helping us with that schedule thing!
  23. I wonder if that rumor will indeed become true, I hope it does, we haven't seen any updates recently sadly...
  24. I really wish someone here was a CFB insider to at least know what kind of future matchups Oregon is discussing, there haven't been any future schedule news about the Ducks since 2021 and I want to know what matchups the Ducks are discussing.
  25. Yeah I know, I'm aware that Rob may never see my email but I do hope that the UO-Bama series does come into reality someday, but I'll be happy with what I have now, I hope that those future games we indeed have scheduled are promising.
