I don't know about a "fatal flaw". But they're dealing with roster turnover and new coordinators on both sides of the ball. The former is enough to prevent a championship repeat...replacing both your OC and DC is going to be disruptive no matter what (especially in the first half of the season).

I can understand why he put tOSU and PSU up so high. However both of them are dealing with new DCs coming in which often leads to disruption for a while as the team adjusts to the new defensive schemes. I think both will have spotty defensive performances for the first 4-5 games of the season which puts OBD's game with PSU right on that cusp...if Franklin's guys are still getting used to the new DC then our Ducks may have a better shot than expected over on their turf.

Hard not to listen to mom. That being said, recent QB development results heavily favor OBD so we could see Curtis a couple years from now for all we know.

I think if OBD can get him, Ryder Lyons is a better fit in WS’s offense since he’s much more of a dual threat type of QB. His size and talent remind me of Bo Nix, plus the 1 year mission he’s taking leaves some extra time for the already talented QB room to spread out a bit.

In the end I think his parents influenced his decision due to the distance.

OBD at #4 on his list feels high given the amount of turnover at starting positions. Right now my gut says they're top 10 rather than top 5 (though I'd love to be proven wrong).
