  1. UCLA crushed at home by New Freaking Mexico 35-10. Nico may have destroyed his career going there.
  2. Indiana just squashed their in-state brethren Indiana State 73-0. I hope OBD puts up that kind of score on the Beavos next weekend!
  3. Oregon 56-10 3 TOs 3 Sacks 265 passing yards
  4. Watching Colorado vs Houston right now. UH is either a solid team or Colorado is just bad 😐 36-20 Houston with 2:36 left in the 4th.
  5. I'm glad it's not just me! Just the overall vibe and the visuals look very different than last season's start. I can only theorize that it's a combination of a couple things: The young coaching staff is maturing and continuing to learn from past mistakes. The overall makeup of the roster is primarily Dan Lanning high school recruits, most of which have been in the system at least 1-2 years. The roster talent level is mind-bogglingly high and best of all, looks to be committed to the program culture. Additionally, I believe it was mentioned that Will Stein had simplified the offensive playbook this time around which probably allowed for all the new starters to get up to speed more quickly. It's probably why we're seeing so many WRs and RBs all having some level of success right out of the gate.
  6. I had serious doubts their offense would perform given that they lost their starting QB and the backup just basically got thrown in the deep end this week against a top 10 team. Conjures up old memories of poor Braxton Burmeister.
  7. I was glad to see Pregnon back in the line up, his knee getting rolled on last game looked worse than it was apparently. After last season's start I'm a little paranoid about the health and depth of the interior OL nowadays 😝
  8. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. He always struck me as kind of a lower end small-ish fastback that would have trouble cracking the 2-deep. These last 2 games have shown that he's obviously put in the time at practice and in the weight room. If he keeps this up I'm not sure how Will Stein can keep him on the bench for long periods.
  9. Ok now I'm starting to feel a little bad for the OSU qb.....kinda lol
  10. Where’s @Mike West ?? He’s been harping on that for what feels like years lol
  11. Secondary blew that coverage, they were watching the QB instead of their surroundings .
  12. I bet one of the guys in the control room fat fingered it and went “OH CRAP!” 😂
  13. Limar has been showing well the last couple games, he’s determined to not be buried in that deep RB room.
  14. Wow, Noah looked like a beast on that run!
  15. I’d prefer to take the ball. Get Dante used to starting fast each game.
  16. I’d like to see OBD smash them by 5 tds after Gundy’s silliness this week.
  17. PSU finishes the game 34-0 though they looked unimpressive for the most part. I don’t know if it’s because of disinterest in their opponent or a general lackadaisical attitude or something else. James Franklin probably isn’t happy with this overall effort (I know I wouldn’t be if I were in his shoes).
  18. Well, there’s something to be said about consistency at the very least. That being said, Iowa St. seems pretty intent on denying him the record today.
  19. Yeesh, they’re up only 10-0 and got their field goal blocked right before halftime. For all the hype around the amount of returning talent and the upgrades at WR they got through the portal, they’re really struggling on offense.
  20. I don’t know if anyone else is watching the Penn St. game but they’re not looking very impressive against such a weak opponent in FIU…
