Evan Stewart is Dancing, Increasing the Chances the Ducks Could be too!
That’s awesome news though I hope he doesn’t rush back, health is most important. I’d also temper expectations as he’s been out for months and will probably need weeks to get back into playing shape and rhythm.

An Oregon QB Simmering on the Bench?
That's a crazy resume for just 1 player to hold. I'm going to guess his 3 star status as a QB is simply because he hasn't been doing that position long, otherwise he might have been a 4. Should be really interesting to see how he develops over the next 2 years.

C'mon....Admit You Were Surprised With the Game...
I'm glad OBD responded the way they did against Rutgers. I was counting on it happening based on my score prediction, though I obviously did not give enough credit to the defense (I had Rutgers scoring 21, mostly in garbage time). Overall it was obviously a dominating effort. However there are still a couple things to nitpick: Dante's overthrowing his long range passes somewhat. The 3 TDs he tossed to Sadiq and Wittington all required them to make a diving catch to complete despite not having defenders around them. Sadiq's 2nd TD catch ended up re-aggravating the ankle he injured in the previous game. Kicking team has missed multiple FG attempts against Indiana and Rutgers, that really needs to be improved.

Either Austin Novasad is injured or preserving his redshirt to transfer. Both scenarios aren't great.

This is the kind of effort I wanted to see, just eating nails and breathing fire. Wish more of that offensive fire showed up last game but maybe that was the spark needed to get them out of complacency for the rest of the season.

Hopefully that means the offense is settling down.

Rutgers weak secondary is well documented. But instead of immediately attacking it they go with 2 run plays and a short pass that resulted in a fumble…😬

James Franklin -" We're Going To Win a Natty Somewhere"
Apparently Franklin is taking Kirk Herbstreit’s job on ESPN College Gameday.

I’m looking for the offense to make this a statement game. If they don’t score at least 45 I’ll be disappointed.

Vandy’s definitely in the top 15 after today’s win.

Back to back INTs for the Fuskies, they’re starting to have their Miami moment.

Can’t throw 4 INTs and expect to win!

Ruh-Roh! The Leading Beavis HC Candidate is....Jonathan Smith of Michigan State?
That would be an interesting homecoming. He did have his best years in Corvallis but like @Solar said, OSU's current status as a G5 program will make it much harder to succeed....then again his competition would also be of similar talent levels so maybe that comes out as a wash.

Geoff Schwartz Take On The Oregon-Indiana Game
I think Oregon should try to hire back Mike Cavenaugh from OSU while they're in coaching chaos.

Run The Gol' Dang Ball
Oh you can absolutely make that case. UCLA had just lost a 4 year starting QB in Dorian Thomas-Robinson in which that last 2022 season was probably Chip Kelly's apex at that school. Then Dante walks into an immediate starting role where the team that following season was just bad all around. Kelly had pretty much checked out so I doubt Dante was getting any sort of meaningful development in practice while being sacked over and over during games. The silver lining is that he realized he made a bad call flipping for starting time right away and came back to OBD.

Run The Gol' Dang Ball
That's the key word right there. It's easy to forget that we've been kinda spoiled with the grizzled veteran type of experience Bo and Dillon brought from the onset. Those guys had seen it all and never got rattled because of that. I call a mulligan on Dante's time at UCLA as it was miserable with a bad OL and a head coach that was pretty much checked out. So in my eyes, he's just in his 2nd real year with the 1st learning Oregon's system. As he plays more we'll see him reading defenses more easily and making better decisions under pressure, it's just going to take time. I suspect he'll be a much different player by the end of the season.

Bray Out at Oregon State
Maybe we can get Mike Cavanaugh back on the OL staff.

James Franklin is Out at Penn State
With the kind of buy out in his contract he'll never have to work again (his kids either).
