  1. If Indiana brings a similar aggressive rush from the edges then I hope WS makes an adjustment and have a TE help with blocking, particularly on the right side since Harkey was having a tough time against Davidson.
  2. Nowadays it's going to be a rarity for a starting QB to stay more than 2 years (whether recruited from HS or plucked from the transfer portal). That makes it much more difficult to develop knowledge/consistency for an offense...particularly to the level it takes to win a CFP championship.
  3. Today's OBD can win in a multitude of ways, certainly keeps predictions a very interesting challenge.
  4. To stretch that even further, even though a lot of people denigrate the choice to allow access for G6 teams to get into the playoff I actually don't mind it. Every now and then there will be a very high performing mid-conference team like BSU last season or UCF (when Scott Frost ran it the first time) where those teams realistically could upset a P4 team in the first round and maybe even in a quarterfinal. That kind of stuff keeps the playoff interesting for me.
  5. The Pac-12 is undefeated! lol
  6. I hope you're right. But I think it was partially caused by some panic with Tech's edges regularly beating the OTs to get into the backfield, causing Dante and Pancho to rush at times.
  7. Good question, he very well could be!
  8. I wish Georgia won their game but in all honesty, I'm kinda digging the "March Madness" vibe that's starting to form with this extended playoff.
  9. The self-inflicted wounds did stop what few chances they had to get in rhythm. Botched handoff, multiple bad snaps, etc. Those definitely need to be fixed over the next few days.
  10. Apparently Kiffin got a $500k bonus for this upset despite not being there so not totally lol
  11. If Will Stein rights the offense then OBD has a good chance at winning. They can't score 2 field goals by halftime against IU and expect any sort of chance at getting to the next round.
  12. DeBoer just does not know what to do now. He doesn’t have the arm of Michael Pennix and 3 NFL receivers to save him this time.
  13. Karen better figure something out quick or this game will be over by halftime.
  14. DeBoer is looking lost on the sideline.
  15. Indiana should win but after that Miami game I’m not sure of anything any more.
  16. Yeah, just a practical guess on my part. 1 extra week to help banged up players get healthy before getting back into it in the 2nd week.
  17. Personal thoughts: DL and Tosh really didn’t like how the JMU game ended and laid into the defense for it. Will Stein took his turn in being distracted by his new job. Focus on your current one first!

  20. 26 days off is definitely a factor. 2 weeks would be the sweet spot.
  21. The defense provided a slew of golden opportunities for the offense to score which they capitalized on very few of them. That can’t happen in the next round. Will Stein needs to figure something out very soon.
  22. Figuring out the prediction contest winner should be interesting. I don’t think anyone fathomed Oregon pitching a shut out!
  23. Lots of empty blue seats where a bunch of red was lol
