As we're all aware, Penn State suffered a gut wrenching 2OT loss to OBD by the tune of 30-24. However, they had a "get right" game lined up for them. An opportunity to get that bad tastes out of their mouths. So imagine my surprise when I tune in and see the Nittany Lions down 27-7?! TO UCLA??!!! UCLA would go on to win 42-35 in a game where they never trailed, after ironically having not led for a single second this season. Guys, I think we broke Penn State. James Franklin may very well be gone before the season ends. And now Dan Lanning may have contributed to the firing of yet another head coach. Crazy, right? Sound off below.

35-31 Ducks take it.

Two words: Recency bias.

Well, that was ugly. Penn State gave SMU the BUSINESS, securing a dominant 38-10 victory over the Mustangs earlier this afternoon. Just about everything that could possibly go wrong for SMU went wrong.. and yet, the Nittany Lion's beatdown of their first CFP opponent brought back thoughts of the B1G Championship Game, and I couldn't help but think to myself: "This game highlights just how GREAT Oregon really is!" Penn State's defense was all over SMU from the jump, and by all accounts they had a fantastic day. And yet, this same dominant defense had absolutely NO ANSWER for Oregon. No answer whatsoever. Safe to say, That Team Out West is gonna be hard to deal with! Sound off below!

Should we win it all, it'll quickly go from, "You've won 0 championships" to "Well, you've only won one! Come talk to me when you've won 7 or 8!" I live in the south, deep in the heart of SEC country, and one thing I can tell you with an absolute certainty is no matter how good you are, you will NEVER be good enough in their eyes.

Maybe I'm just naive. It's possible. After all, I'm only 31 years old. Or maybe I'm just BIASED. Yeah, that's it. I have no problem admitting that. I LOVE me some Oregon Ducks, man. So I beseech you, my fellow Duck fans, particularly the elder statesmen among you. Perhaps one of you can explain to me how Oregon has held the No. 1 ranking since the Illinois game, won the B1G in their first year, secured wins over THREE playoff teams, finished the regular season as the nation's ONLY unbeaten team, and yet they don't have a single 1st team All-American? HUH?! So let me get this straight: No first team All-American, only ONE second teamer, and only TWO third teamers, one which was a Heisman finalist, no award winners outside of Bryce Boettcher (unless I'm missing something), no coach of the year, head coach, assistant or otherwise, no NOTHING. If I hadn't watched a single game, I'd think that Oregon's unbeaten record was a fluke and that they were just a bunch of lucky Ducks (pun intended) who would soon have their luck run out. But of course, I know better. I saw the games, all of them. OBD have EARNED that top ranking many times over. So what gives? Sound off below!

He's supposed to be an EXPERT? Hey Brian, I hate to break it to you, but with reasoning like that, you're not predicting Oregon to lose. You're just HOPING they do. You're hoping that they finally drop a game, so you can tell everyone, "See?? See?? I was right!! I told you they'd lose!!" That is quite disappointing. I expect more, although I'm not sure why I do. Apparently a lot of people can't stand the fact that Oregon is quite possibly the only truly ELITE team in the country, and that they've been holding that No.1 ranking like a war veteran coming home for the holidays. Oregon's here to stay. Deal with it.

I made this point on another post: It's really cool to see Oregon be No. 1 and literally NOBODY has a problem with it. Even pundits who are historically anti-Oregon willingly concede that these wonderful Ducks are the top team. That speaks volumes.

The new "Ducks vs Them" is out, and I am now thoroughly convinced that Dan Lanning is an absolute PSHYCHOPATH. He is a maniac of the highest order, and I am all the way here for it. What football coach do YOU know that actively encourages their team to dance to the opponents hype song, use that aforementioned song against them, win a tight game in THEIR PLACE, and then play that same song AGAIN while celebrating in the locker room? This is truly diabolical behavior, and I love every bit of it! Check it out!
