  1. Thanks for the link. Next year should right the ship.
  2. Guys we did get Abbott at QB in 22? He has a possibility of adding something if 1 of our QBs leave. Watched some of his highlights looked good to me. Never count out walkons re R Walk, B Mayfield, S Bennett, etc.
  3. This means MC took 2 edge rushers from us Moss and Agude in 22 MC 2 DL 1
  4. Thanks for the post Jon. This is my new Cinderella story.
  5. That's mashing and bashing. Go Ducks Fly High
  6. He was playing like all PAC 12 last year before he got hurt in a non contact drill. . Watch out!
  7. Let's go, get this guy DL, Tony and Tosh.
  8. Tough but they have won 6 games without them so far and the series is at home so that helps.
  9. You can't fix stupidity and/or dishonesty.
  10. With iamagreedy going to Tenn we will see how this money thing will turn out. I project he will under perform due to a lack of the need to practice and play hard because he and his family are set for life unless the 8 million isn't accurate.
  11. Glad he went to the vols now we won't have his arrogance to deal with. He has shown his true colors IMHO.
  12. I agree with you it would be tough for any comparison but I do believe because of the metrics todays athletes would have an advantage. Just on practice structure alone they would have an advantage. Repetition creates better results. Todays athletes train pretty much year round. Now let's consider physical attributes. Again todays players have an advantage in health, speed and strength. I know back in 72 when I last played I was 6' 4" 240 lbs. I was one of the biggest players in Oregon. In fact the school had to get me a pair of shoulder pads from OSU. I played DL/OL, now I'd be lucky to be a LB. Most speed records fall every year. Now I do believe if you were to bring the old players to today and let them use all the advantages of today they would probably excel.
  13. He also lost a top coach who had been with him for I believe 9 years. That alone would have a negative effect. As we see, the guy he hired as a replacement has left.
  14. It's tough to sweep anyone let alone the Ute who has a good club. The numbers are outstanding.
  15. I respectfully disagree with your assessment. The word culture means how a system is ran. What are the philosophic ideas that are the basis of the system. What are the goals of the system. How you get players on the same page. Etc. I believe you have to establish your "culture" if you are going to be successful against the competition. The better it is for all the members from top to bottom the better the results. It's especially important when you have a new regime which we have. Go Ducks Fly High
  16. They did seem to sometimes and played some amazing games but with no consistency even from 1 half to another. Very puzzling.
  17. Legacy players are going to be a positive thing for the Ducks.
  18. I went through my nephew who played baseball being drafted. I know it's a different sports but I believe this is a similarity. The highly thought of players that had the physical tangibles were selected higher and promoted faster above the grinders who had leveled out but who played better than the so called stars in HS, college and even the minors. Just can't believe the NFL is any different.
  19. Don't sleep on Abbott. Read some articles and his confidence is inspiring.
  20. I believe because our offense strength is our run blocking OL. We are going to run the ball down people's throats. Then take successful shots downfield. Our defense another strength of this team is going to be a terror and give us the field position advantage throughout the game. If we stay relatively healthy I do see us going to have a shocking season
  21. I wrote awhile ago about how Coach Locklyn has 4 RBs currently on NFL rosters. This is a great pickup for us.
