  1. The more I think about it, and what was said on the show last night, and what has been posted here, I think Dye's best move is to try for the NFL. Last season is the best I think he'd be able to show the NFL. He wouldn't be the featured back here next season, primarily because of a new offense, and I doubt he'd match his production last season at a new school. So good luck, Travis whatever you decide.
  2. Great interview, Katz talked about how Altman's teams are always better late in the season that everybody knows, but he really did watch the LA games, and asks questions about them.
  3. Last night on "Talkin Ducks, Dye was brought up and Aaron Fentress suggested that Dye might find a spot at USC, and then one of the others, can't say who, thought that maybe Oregon State is a possibility. How would that work out? Could we wish the best for him, but not the team? Oregon and USC aren't on the schedule, but the last game of the season, at Reser?
  4. No, it's not Bob Dylan Oregon Men adjust to constant shifts in schedule as they now prep for Washington
  5. What I hope this shows is that, as expected, tempers have cooled down. But if these teams can get to, "They really don't like each other" that would be great. As we have lamented, the Pac-12 doesn't have the passion found in other conferences these days. I remember back in the 70's, Kamikaze Kids time, The Pit did shake, Bill Walton, Marques Johnson said they loved and hated playing there, Wooden hated it. Overall, today, for crazy we have Cameron Indoor at Duke. In the final 5 minutes of a nail biter, it's as wild as The Pit was 5 hours before a game started. In Arizona, the crowd won't sit down until the opponent scores. Wow, that's intimidating. So, no, we don't want Bobby Knight, But a win over a hostile crowd on the road is as good as it gets.

  7. He did it himself, and Mario is running the same plays now
  8. I clapped my hands when I saw that. Just getting out of a 3rd and long would be huge. But imagine a defense that could actually make the situation better! It's ridiculous fun to imagine a Ducks team with a defense that just lays waste to offenses!
  9. Oregon Ducks Zero in on 3-star RB Andrew Paul, the 'fastest rising prospect' in the Nation Zachary Neel Ducks Wire
  10. I see a 10-2 record as well, with objectively picking Georgia, of course I picked Ohio State too, and even at home this time, I'll give Utah credit. Stanford? Don't often lose to them 2 years in a row, and they are really in a bad slide now. Arizona is rebuilding, but Scooby isn't there anymore. The Cougars on the road is always trap but I like that the game is early in the season, Cal, W. Chip got his extension, and DTR is back, but a lot of others aren't. The overall lead for UW will get smaller, and with bulldozers on the side, the Ducks will take down the Beavers at Reser.
  11. We don't know what Graves may have said, but it certainly seemed out of character, meanwhile Barnes?
  12. Not yet I'm wondering why he hasn't made it official. Is there a chance he stays at OK? Is he going to take Eastern Michigan up on their $1M offer?

  15. Yanez leads a deep pitching staff and Allee is outstanding. The Ducks lost some talent to transfers but it sounds like another great team in The Jane
  16. Actually from California
  17. Another reason that this could be great is that both Wayne, a 5^ on defense, and Josh Connerly, a 5^ on defense, are from Washington. JTT got away last season, to Ohio State. Oregon's got some great players from Washington. these two would be great in the Washington pipeline.
  18. The ESD seemed like a bad move from the start. The original SD, first Wednesday in February was a day sports fans could look forward to. The Bowl games were over, it was exciting. But the NCAA decided to put recruiting right in the mix with Bowl games, and coaches coming, leaving. It was ridiculous, do something smart now and get rid of it.
