USC Back on Top Much Sooner Than Thought?
USC doesn't have to play Oregon, but the Trojans have 5 games on the road. Probably not much worry at Stanford, but at Oregon State, Utah? Who knows what's happening at Arizona, and then at UCLA?

An Early Look at Next Years Football Schedule
I'd go more than fairly? Lanning's experienced enough already to know the there has to be a QB battle, and savvy enough not to let Georgia plan exclusively against Nix.

Ducks beat Huskies 68-61
Can't disagree about that, except that can be said about all the players now. Pinto is great coming in like she does. She reminds of, Vinnie the microwave Johnson, of the Detroit Pistons.

BREAKING: Travis Dye Commits to USC !!!
I'm fine with a couple of Legendary Trojans Coaches being Ducks, no need to be greedy, and Kenjon is in the records for most yards against USC.

WBB: Oregon 68 Washington 61
The Tweet says the game starts at 7:00, but my comcast listings has a Gymnastics Meet on from 6:00 to 8:00. So, I say tune it a little before 7 and hope the floor exercise competition is wrapping up.

Duck Fans: Oregon's Success was BOUGHT by Phil Knight
It just seems like Husky Honks would have other things to do besides spend time moaning and wailing about the success Oregon has, and is, enjoying. Owing all the credit for that success to Phil and Penny Knight doesn't exhibit a lot of cognitive ability. Beaver Nation is trying their best to become winners. They don't spend every waking moment crying about Oregon's success. Oregon has the best facilities in the country, the finest Track Stadium in the world. Meanwhile, Oregon State is adding seats to Reser. It is what it is.

Dick Harter: Holding Bricks in the Air
Watching a game in The Pit is something I'll never forget, just going in the front doors is unforgettable, it always smelled of popcorn! Taking charges was not done back then, certainly not in the Pac-8. It went against everything that Wooden believed basketball should be. Bill Walton and Marques Johnson bot say later that they both loved and hated playing in The Pit. The intensity was fabulous to play in, but Wooden wanted fans to behave like they were at Wimbledon. UCLA was a big rival, but the hatred between the Beavers and Ducks basketball teams has never been matched from what it was back then.

Annie, thanks so much for finding and posting that link. If I could I'd start a Forum to discuss nothing but Dick Harter and the Kamikaze Kids! It truly was a magical time.

CBS - 10 CFB Teams That Suffered the Most From NFL Early Entry Hits
The most interesting on this list to me is the Harbaugh to the Raiders. He gets to Michigan, his "Dream Job" does well, not great, can't beat Ohio State, Last season he beats the Buckeyes, gets to the CFP, and now he might coach the Raiders? The AFC West is tough, K,C the Raiders, Chargers, and a chance that Aaron Rodgers could be a Bronco next season. Just saw an Alabama OL, Tommy Brown transferred to Colorado, and RB, Austin Jones from Stanford to USC.
