I'd much rather have the team and its fan-aticals deal with losing 4 straight to Michigan, 2 straight to Oregon, getting bounced in the first round of the CFP, than having a chance to derail Oregon's championship run. Tennessee's D hasn't faced an offense like Oregon's. I like OBD's chances of exploding against it more than Tennessee plodding methodically down the field against Oregon's opportunistic defense.

Deion Sanders is considered to be the best Corner in history, but he's low on the most recognizable stat for the position, INT's, because the ball was hardly ever thrown his way. In my mind, Tez had a much more impressive, impactful season at WR than T. Hunter had, but got 2nd team B1G? The one stat that stands out above all the others is Oregon was 13-0, Colorado was 9-3. While Hunter had time to strike the Heisman pose, Gabriel's mind was on winning games.

The B1G didn't exactly go out of its way to make sure the Ducks had the best possible first year, so I'm fine with just having OBD dominate the B1G, the other 17 can root for each other, and I'd rather Oregon beat the SEC team. Oregon has the best record, but Lanning isn't the best coach, they have players, but the only post season awards are the Bullsworth for Boettcher and just recently, the Silver Football Award to Gabriel. They beat osu2 without their best defensive player, the star WR, got 2nd team in the B1G, they couldn't score 40! How'd they, do it?
