  1. There are several thoughts here of what, why and how this has happened. One or more may be right. We will know more after Saturday’s game, but no matter the details, I like it with the Ducks personnel. They have the Joe’s to bring added pressure. I’m wondering how the YAC allowed per game compares so far with last year’s statistic? It seems to me with a small sample that the Ducks are tackling much better.
  2. Moore is a budding superstar. With the stacked WR room, I hope that opponents will overload against Moore thus leaving other receivers open including our great Tight Ends. Moore is dynamic and a playmaker. Go Ducks.
  3. Ducks can navigate and persevere through a whiteout. The lead duck breaks the wind for others leading the formation. The others fall in off his wings creating a draft for the other ducks following. Go Ducks!
  4. What I noticed, in this small one game sample, is how methodically the Ducks spread the field. Oregon challenged from sideline to sideline. As an added observation, the quarterbacks when passing seemed to search the entire field of play, and find the best option to pass to with a couple of exceptions. With a deep group of skilled and talented receivers this opportunity should only get better as the team gels.
  5. DrJack, enjoy the season ahead, and keep on pondering. Go Ducks!
  6. He will be safer in the box when he makes bone-headed mistakes. It is hard for the fans to hit him with water bottles up there. Disclaimer: I am not advocating throwing things which is not tolerated.
  7. When I click on the link to ChileDucks Updated Depth Chart it takes me to a login page for NMSU.edu. Do any of you also experience that same page?
  8. Times NowDeion Sanders Health Update: Colorado Coach Reveals Bladd...Deion Sanders revealed he was diagnosed with bladder cancer earlier this year and underwent bladder removal surgery. Now cancer-free, the Colorado coach shared his journey publicly, emphasizing the...
  9. Psst. Ducks aren’t gonna lose at PSU. They are not gonna leave Happy Valley Nittany Lions fans happy at the end of the game. As an aside, where does the “Nittany” come from? The nearby mountains are the Nittany Mountains. Local lore holds that cougars roam there, hence the “Nittany Lions” namesake. This is according to two PSU alums.
  10. Will a charging Bear create turnover’s for the secondary? I am keen to watch the reconstituted secondary and game one should result in highlights for the DB’s. Let the Ducks out!!!! They will be strong in all position groups.
  11. Tom Allen from Penn State is heading the defense as DC at Clemson now. Last year’s shortcomings will most likely be fixed and the Clemson offense will be faster and higher scoring. Tee it up boys.
  12. Ohio State +400, Texas +440, Penn State +480, Georgia +650, and OBD +800. Clemson will be in the top 5 by the season’s end.
  13. Good advice Kemosabe to not look past Minnesota. How. My aging eyes cannot see past the 10k lakes anyway. You give sage advice. But oh - those Golden Gophers.
  14. The potential solutions from the WR room are plentiful. Alex has touched upon the obvious, but the room is deeper than that and a dark horse may run to the front of the pack. I project that the Ducks will have guys that get open and can do their things. The larger question looming is what level of production will we get from the QB’s? There is a huge difference in results between great and good. QB play has so much to do with WR production. Go Ducks. The countdown to kickoff continues.
  15. Good luck and a bright future to coach Feld. The U is better conditioned than when he arrived.
  16. Downtown Sabs. On Thursday night against the Mystics, Ionescu rewrote the WNBA history books yet again. She did so in the first quarter of the game by hitting a wide-open corner three on a fastbreak play. The Liberty announced on social media that with that trey, Ionescu has now become the all-time leader in franchise three-pointers with 401 triples to her name. - Yahoo Sports
  17. There is “more” in the QB room than Moore. Let the dogs out early to see them run.
  18. An analyst I listen to, Walt Deptula, predicts PSU v Clemson in the Natty. PSU is going to be tough this season and should be within the Top-5 in national rankings through season if they live up to the pre season hype. The Ducks have the talent to contend for the championship though they are somewhat young and need to gel quickly into a synchronized unit early in the season. The game against the Nittany Lions at Happy Valley looms large on the horizon. Can the Ducks avoid being shot down, and propel into the championship conversation by defeating Penn State? Every game counts, but Oregon at Penn State in 2025 will be huge.
  19. Hooray! Well, earned. Charles Barkley talks Celtics guard Payton Pritchard: 'He built his game' WWW.SPORTINGNEWS.COM The Boston Celtics guard was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year on Tuesday night.
  20. You are the champion not named in the article. You did great thinking and writing on this one. Thanks.
