Pac-12 CEO Group, ADs in Conference Call This Afternoon
Notalot replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
If there is a group party (group) to blame for the mess the Pac finds itself in, the CEO group is that entity. It did not excercise over control or effective oversight over Livin Large Larry, resulting in a litany of negative outcomes over a long period of time. They can cite vacancies, turnover, respect to incoming peers, other priorities in acadamia or administration. This group has failed miserably over 7-10 years protecting Maslow's highest need - Survival, let alone flourishing growth. The topic, related history, and outcomes would make a pathetic Business Case study. -

Flashback: Oregon Takes Down Ohio State in the Shoe!
Notalot replied to Annie's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
A fun day and weekend in Columbus! Every day is a good day to be a Duck. That day was even better. Kudos to Buckeye fans who welcomed us before the game, and congratulated Duck fans afterwards. The band can dot the."i". I wonder if they can put a sailor cap on a duck? -

Could This Be the Pac-12’s Long-Term Plan?
Notalot replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Thanks, David, for the article. I see the present and future different than you do. Oregon will ultimately respond to and participate in a full realignment of the top teams in college football. I believe that the Ducks will play in several championship playoffs before the reshuffling occurs. -
So what! Indeed.

Canzano Confirms Our Suspicions About Conference Priority...
Notalot replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
If indeed the strategy is an easier path to the playoffs in the near term that's good. It is very likely a safe spot for a holding pattern as the universe of college football evolves. The Pac won't make it in the end, and Oregon will end up in an enviable conference or group when the frenzy slows, and the top 40 or 50 teams compete for the ultimate crown. -

Happy birthday Charles and Haywarduck! Let freedom ring. I've seen Charles' pit, but not tasted his chicken. We had a back deck soiree' here today in Greenviille, SC. NY Strips and Shish Kabob breast of chicken skewers, baked potatoes, Corn-on-the-cob, Watermelon, and strawberry paradise cake from Publix Bakery. Nobody left hungry. Enjoy the chicken and your burthday too - you young pup. -

College Football's Best 2023 Running Back Rooms
Notalot replied to Jon Joseph's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I'll take our depth and variety of skills over any of them. It will be a stampede of Ducks running by, through, and over defenders . -
Should Oregon Move to the B1G? I’m Not Convinced
Notalot replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
A whole new playing field of conferences is emerging squeezed by media entities. It will take 5-10 years to fully shake out. I don't see either of the Pac or ACC playing big boy football in the end. Oregon will be in the elite level of college football with 40-50 other teams. I have no idea beyond that how scheduling and alignments will work. Darwinism with insider meddling. -
I heard the 19th hole is the windiest of all?
