  1. This makes me think of the proverbial “Who Shot J.R.?” question. Better luck to JR Waters.
  2. Another adage is "You've got to win. Do whatever it takes to win." Occasionally it results in balance.
  3. Let's hope that Duarte gets healthy and stays that way. It will be interesting to see how the return of Will Richardson impacts the offense and complements Duarte's play. Go Ducks.

  5. Give credit and praise to the coaches and recruiting staff for a job well done. I'm reasonably sure that Coach C will lead top recruiting recuiting performance every year. Now can they coach 'em up and call winning schemes?
  6. You are right. Coach Cristobal should take a summer field trip to KC. Get him a ticket and some KC ribs with KC special sauce. Maybe he can bring home some of Andy's "special sauce". Coach Moorhead no doubt will be studying those Chief's plays. Personally I love the misdirections, and pressure on the boundaries. KC terrorizes most defenses. That said, TB may very well contain KC more than most. If not, the SB will be a shootout. It must be tough in LV to set the O/U line without ending up with white knuckles.
  7. If these women are so good at defending now, just wait until they have a couple of years together and Oregon's great coaches working with them. Lights Out! Blocks Steals Fast breaks Offensive fouls taken Traps Disruption I can feel it coming.........
  8. Quality depth is always an asset. The win over the Huskies was impressive. We need to get our big guns healthy and on the court to gel before the tourney. What a difference another year will make for this roster.
  9. Cardwell could become the cream on top of the strawberries for this class. UO and Cardwell are a match made in Heaven.
  10. Quack Quack Quack. Go Ducks Women.
  11. From his starting point, and with his instincts and work ethic, Flowe should become another underpinning for a spectacular future defense. Clemson returns all 11 starters on defense for 2021, plus their top 14 defensive players.
  12. “Nightmare” in Autzen would be a dream come true. Welcome Coach DeRuyter. Go Ducks. Thanks Coach Boles.
  13. Gonna miss him. Mr. TD. The transfer worm continues to turn.
  14. I would like the Presidents to create a draft strategy matrix of goals and priorities for 2, 5 and 10 years. Interview against those, and then revise the matrix with the newly hired Commish who will be responsible to deliver the plan, and reviewed annually against it with rewards and penalties resulting. Performance-driven.
  15. CJ’s a warrior. I hope he can be healthy and productive finishing with a record year. The competition in the RB room is getting deeper.
  16. Shine JJIII Shine. Good news.
  17. I hope it’s so. The Ducks must get healthy and onto the same page. I’m expecting a long run and some Altman magic.
  18. Go WBB Ducks! Keep working and improving to become the champions.
  19. 58? Take the "W" and move ahead. C'mon WBB.
  20. I don't like to celebrate the failures of others. It was well past time to move on from Larry Scott for the survival of the conference. Was it too late? The ravages of the pandemic forced many changes and adjustments to established systems. Will the Presidents of PAC12 universities make changes to restore the conference and achieve financial competitiveness?
  21. Being respected and named leader is one thing. Improvising how to lead your men through the battle to victory through great adversity develops earned unquestioned leadership and great loyalty results. Berry, Fouts, Thomas, Harrington, and Mariota come to mind. There are others.
  22. To all of this I say "maybe" and "what will be will be". I'm still waiting for the next Alpha Dog QB who refuses to lose and carries the team thru adversity. A consummate winner with an obvious IT factor. I think the Ducks may have one, but will he be identified and unleashed before he moves on?
  23. You may be right.
