  1. Yup, can always count on the Beavs stepping up and being dangerous. I think since they are our rival, that the Ducks tend to be more guarded against let down as opposed to other teams, such as Stanford last year.
  2. Zona schools always a thorn in the side...
  3. All the better for when he wins the Heisman!!!! (wink, wink) 😁
  4. "in the conversation" that what I'm hoping for.
  5. I did stumble across this while I was checking the odds, from a couple years ago, so one never knows: "8 of the past 10 Heisman winners weren’t considered Top 10 candidates in the preseason by oddsmakers. Joe Burrow (40:1), Kyler Murray (30:1), Lamar Jackson (100:1) and Derrick Henry (25:1) represent a new wave of Heisman profitability for sports gamblers. " ..
  6. Always fun to see a dog doing his best goat (ie, climbing to weird places) impersonation.
  7. If he and the Ducks have a very good season, his name will most likely be in the mix (which is what I'm reasonably hoping for) and then if luck and other top contenders falter then who knows.... crazier things have happened.
  8. Yikes, we don't need Clemson rebounding, we need them to have several repeats in a row of last year.
  9. Nix's name did consistenly come up in the 15-25 range, so it's not like he's totally coming out of nowhere. And, I think that after the low-grade MC offense has trained us to have minimal expectations with the offense (can you image us saying the pre-MC? Crazy), but the offense will for sure be more explosive, if he can cut down on the mistakes, the Ducks win the Pac-12 (which is not a crazy thought) then his could very well be in the mix. But, yes, alot would need to go right.
  10. Stop making so much sense! Lol. It's June and the Ducks are going to win the natty and Nix the Heisman and that is that!!! But seriously, maybe not "zero" in my book, but pretty darn low chance, I do agree. Yeah, I was wondering about DJ as well, but his name is in the mix even though he stank last year, they must be betting on being at Clemson and a year 2 improvement.
  11. Agreed, but I'm grasping onto that sliver of hope.
  12. Very true. It will be so nice to have a non-conservative offense, if MC was still coach, and somehow we still got Nix, there is no way I would have even thought about Nix and the heisman. But, now, we have hope.....
  13. I hear ya. I've been there, I have certainly been there....
  14. Agree. If the Ducks are sloppy with the ball it could get ugly, but if they protect the football they should cover.
  15. I would buy the spread if we had an inexperienced qb such as Thompson, but Nix keeps us in it.
  16. agree, I expect it to go down as the game gets closer.
  17. yeah, that seems more reasonable, maybe even 12, but 17? nah.
  18. Oregon-Georgia: I'm Betting on a Close Game FISHDUCK.COM Darren Perkins of FishDuck.com believes that the 17-point spread on the Oregon-Georgia game is...
  19. Well heck, I have to respond to this one: Thank You!
