  1. For sure, joining B1G made the Ducks' national recruiting even stronger. Good point.
  2. Good points. We'll find out who the Ducks' true gamers are on Saturday.
  3. Agree, our qb over theirs. Ours has a much higher ceiling, but theirs does have experience. We'll see!
  4. And no all-world tight end this year! Will be exciting.
  5. Yep, could be a roller coaster ride.
  6. Yes, that area should've been developed 50 years ago, but, ya know, Eugene. Hopefully, it comes to full fruition it would be so nice and bring more people downtown, $$$$$$. On raint days, have a big watch party in The Pit!
  7. Yes, I heard that, too. Thanks for link.
  8. Thanks. It would be cool to have it smack dab on campus.
  9. Yes, lots of other factors. The oregon blur offense, uniforms, other cool factors. It would interesting if T. Boone was still alive, he'd probably be all in on NIL hence improving the program. But, oh well.
  10. Thanks, Charles! That's helps to alleviate doubts.
  11. Thanks for the analysis. The hope is that nothing changes. But, when other people are in charge of things, who knows. That damn "human factor."
  12. From what i've heard he's got things setup to help the Ducks for a long time. But, it still won't be the same. There will be a dip, just how big?
  13. The power of positive thinking!!!
  14. Yeah, me too. I hate to be the crusty, old guy, saying, "well, back in my day...." But, life was really tough for Oregon fans back in the day. Spoiled kids today!!! lol
  15. Exactly, Oregon does not have as many rich donors as those type of schools, we just currently have the one richest guy. Kinda having all of our duck eggs in one basket.
  16. Yes.... you get straight to the point!
  17. It's cool that we're going to be in "the hunt" most years. Probably the year we least expect is when it will actually happen. Something like our starting quarteback goes down, and we all think the season is in the toilet, but then the backup comes in and lights it up. Ya know, something dramatic like that.
  18. When I came up with the title, I thought to myself, "I bet Charles will like this one!" haha
  19. Yes, might as well as start the playoff sooner. The traditions of the bowl season are all but gone anyway, let's do what's best for the sport.
  20. Yes, need to match the mid-game adjustments of our opponents as you mentioned in some of Oregon's losses. That's coaching. Hopefully, the coach's have grown.
  21. It will be interesting as the playoff expands, that if we will begin to see coaches rest starters the final week of the season. Might have to stop scheduling rivalry games as the last games on the schedule, and schedule non-conference cup cakes.... but i'm getting way ahead of myself.
  22. Yes, very Portland Trail Blazers-esc for sure. Something in the Oregon water, haha.
  23. Thanks. The days of having a "bend but don't break" defense are in the distant past. We are at the next level.
  24. For sure, it'll be fun. Then, next year we have a "veteran" team, I guess. lol.
