  1. thanks. For sure, those teams will be back. But, just as a whole I believe the whole "physicality" argument against former Pac-12 teams was always a bit silly and time to be put to bed.
  2. Yeah, that's the irony, MC has finally seen the light. Problem was ASU scored a lot in the 4th quarter with some Jayden Daniels guy at qb. Who knew! Arizona State 31-28 Oregon (Nov 23, 2019) Final Score - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Game summary of the Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Oregon Ducks NCAAF game, final score 31-28, from November 23, 2019 on ESPN.
  3. The whole "physicality" thing is so laughable. Ironically, in 2007, we were a finesse team and we boat-raced them 39-7 at the Big House.
  4. yup, and if they can get past tOSU we will see them in the championship. Of course, against the Buckeyes we'll see if they are contender or pretender.
  5. The cougars up here in eastern washington were a high flying act under Mike Leach, and it get cold as heck up here. Not, sure the cold really hurts passing that much, maybe some, but snow and rain for sure.
  6. Very true. The Ducks will once again influence their peers style of play.
  7. Yes, last year's UM team was a bit of an anomaly in today's football. It was like how the SEC used to win titles with stellar defense and ball control offense.
  8. It's sooooo great they couldn't leave the Ducks behind.
  9. That's pretty telling. And, the 2021 win in shoe was the crown jewel. Pundint: "Oregon will have a hard time against a 'physical' big ten team on the road?" Oh, we sure did. ha!
  10. I hear ya, just be a coordinator, make good money, way less strees, BUT ambition gets a lot of them. Riley is a great offensive mind and has coached Heisman winners (3), so that would be a selling point to a lot of players.
  11. Thanks. I say go with the best and brightest regardless whether a young, up and comer or a former head coach. The best fit. Lupoi is interesting, I think with this new age of NIL and head coaching stress, more guys, like Kelly, with sit back and just be coordinators. It's much more comfortbable and you're still getting paid 7 figures.
  12. Thanks for your response. I would say, if it's good enough for Nick Saban it's good enough for anyone in the coaching. Certainly, there were those who had concerns about Sark and Kiffin, but they ended up bringing value to Bama. I think if the situation and personality is right, go for it. Take the best available guy out there. He's not gonna be around long anyway.
  13. Yup, i was in the student section, it was surreal, it was like i was lifted up in a sea of humanity. I ended up like 4 rows down and about ten seats to the right of where I was. When i landed i was in the middle of a bunch asian students and was hugging everybody left and right.
  14. Funny how SC didn't have the onions to really leverage the bigger cut from the Pac-12, but as I noted, they didn't really want it, they wanted to rub elbows with historical blue-bloods.
  15. ..... in case it had not been mentioned already.
  16. George's best line ever. Very wise words.
  17. Correct. And, I love every minute of it.
  18. And, as if the Huskies didn't win close games against lesser talented teams last year. How quickly we forget....
  19. For sure, they were totally in sync on Saturday.
