We got Jordan, Alex, Darren, David and yours-truly writing during the season...all is right again!

The stations we need to watch B1G games are... CBS NBC NBC-Peacock Streaming B1G Network Fox Fox Sports 1 Fox Sports 2 (Many don't think we need this, but when a prior game goes late--they may push ours to FS2 until the other game is done on FS1. Then we move back to FS1) Something I am looking closely at, is how Fubo is focused on Sports, and has a bunch of smaller networks that carried Oregon Baseball games. I had to subscribe for a month on a few to get the weekend series in Houston and at California school that was not in our league. What I am also seeing is how many other stations these carriers have. I might just cut the cord myself if I like the total lineup.

Unbelievable. I am blacked out in EUGENE! I need a game recording for analysis purposes, and will be scrambling between now and Saturday for solutions. I am on hold right now after yelling at Xfinity...

So sweet to have Jordan writing again for the football season! He is the epitome of our writers...who do it for the love of writing. He is a Managing Editor for a small newspaper in SoCal, and has a family with two small kids. And he writes for FishDuck? David Marsh is in a similar spot, and both these guys are FishDuck Heroes!

Amen my Duck-Brothers and Sisters, as I learn so much from all of you. This feedback, frankly, is surprising. My sense was that we were posting too much, so it is good to ask, and great to get responses.

We have been wrestling with conflicting issues concerning posting all the news articles that you see everyday. On one hand, they are incredibly handy, and prevents having to go to 20 different sites to see Duck News. Yet I worry about too many crowding out discussion, of which is THE objective of a forum. I want discussion, and not to become another news source or data aggregator. It is also a very careful balancing act of how many articles to provide. Too many and we don't read any of them? Our objective originally, a year ago was...."bring it all here." But now we have been thinking of just getting you the majority of the major news per day, which might only be about a dozen articles. We do have all the major site links up in the "News" page at the top of the site in yellow letters if you want to go check out other sites for news. So We Need Your Feedback! --What percentage of articles posted do you read? --Are there too many posted? --How many is an ideal amount? Just the most important? --Do you even want them at all? Oregon looking for a flip Tight end is a position of need for Oregon as head coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks work on a class that ranks No. 12 nationally. They’ll be one to watch moving forward with Fullerton (Calif.) Troy On300 tight end Vander Ploog following a scholarship offer this week. The 6-foot-6, 210-pound Ploog is tabbed by the On3 Industry as the nation’s No. 12 tight end and No. 206 prospect overall. He gave the Huskies a verbal in June.

This article discusses the four that made the top 100 list, but the Ducks have a bunch of other transfers as well. Big news in that the All-Time Home Run leader, Jacob Walsh is returning for his senior season at Oregon! And the most promising pitcher to transfer in...came from Washington! Four Ducks land inside Baseball America's top 100 transfer portal additions 247SPORTS.COM As the transfer portal season for baseball wrapped up, Baseball America released a list of the top 100 players with four incoming Ducks making the list.

We do not know Dan's total compensation package, because a Non-Qualified Deferred Comp plan is not reportable and we saw stuff written about how Phil and Dan have something set up on the side that will assure Dan being a wealthy man. However, Non-Qualified Deferred Comp plans do have stipulations of time of employment and/or achievement thresholds to meet in order to get the money or NIKE stock. BTW..."Non-Qualified" simply means it is not an IRA, a 401-K, a government sanctioned retirement savings device, a "Tax-Qualified Saving Vehicle." NQ Comp plans are very common in business to retain great employees over time, thus I believe strongly in the "smoke where there is fire" concerning what has been written and rumored about the existence of this NQ Def. Comp plan set up for Dano. I think there is a plan between them...

Every week it will happen right in front of them...but each team will not believe it until they play Oregon. I really don't think most fans, even Oregon fans "get" what we have on defense--as I outlined in the article. Tysheem Johnson getting a sack on a Safety Blitz!
