Make that 24 who have signed up to spam...never had an attack like this.

Now it is up to seven sign-ups from India who are attempting to penetrate our site and turn into a spam haven. We make NO MONEY, barely pay expenses, and yet they attack. So much evil in the world...

The site is being attacked by a group in India at the moment. I put people through the paces in the registration process, but I assume that new AI paradigms are breaking through. I've deleted over a dozen spam posts and five different entities signing up that had to be banned in the last half-hour. That last sentence was at 11:30 PM last night. Since then we have had 29 Spammers penetrate and register, and consequently write dozens of spam posts that fortunately, our fantastic moderators have deleted. Then they marked the spammer to prevent future posts. Hug a moderator! Let me know ANYTIME that something is happening. Usually we are being barraged by Red China, Singapore, Germany and yes...Ukraine. (they have some evil tech bastards there) Now it is India. Lovely. The price of freedom is high, and all values must be defended. Mr. FishDuck

It is time for an update of 2024 recruiting rankings on Rivals. (the tougher and more consistent rankings over 25 years) Our Beloved Ducks have moved up to No. 5 with 18 of the 4/5 Star players. Meanwhile USC is at No. 20 with 13 of the 4/5 Star players. And Washington is at No. 47 with 5 of the 4/5 Star players. Who is best prepared for the B1G?

True. But nothing compares to my loathing of Washington....and now that I've written the "W" word...I have to turn and spit.

I am grateful that all of you are tolerant of the ads to allow me to pay for photographers for the games--so I don't have to be the Shameless Beggar quite so much. Something that I do not have to do, but do so because I enjoy it while having 1980s tunes in the background--is making screenshots of the game from angles photographers cannot cover. First, I go through an elaborate process to convert the TV signal to MP4/MPV digital in order have a digital copy for the coaches and their analysis articles, but also allows me to grab screenshots. It takes hours to line up the right moment for all of them...yet many times you see them in my posts which makes it all that much more interesting. I make the screenshot large enough, and often you will see them in FishDuck.com articles as well. Is this the coolest and most epic screenshot of the season thus far? Damn. Does this make me an artsy type?

If USC loses, but nobody is there to see it, does it still count as a loss?

Lincoln Riley strikes me the same as Mark Helfrich; GREAT offensive coordinator, and great QB coach. Not head coach material...

Coach Lanning has a tape of last year's loss running continuously in the locker room this last week. The sting of that loss burns, and Oregon is not going to have less emotion, nor will they let up. If Oregon State actually steals the 35 million earned by Oregon this year--the Beavers do not deserve to ever play Oregon again in any sport. Trust me...they feel the same way.

247Sports' Director of Recruiting Steve Wiltfong and analyst Brandon Huffman have both put in a Crystal Ball to Oregon for Fairfield (Calif.) Armijo defensive lineman Jericho Johnson. He is a big Nose Tackle we need bad, and he is deciding between the Huskies, USC and Our Beloved Ducks.

It is unfortunate that he is the weak link on the defense. Offense pick on him in coverage, and as I diagrammed at the OBD Get-Together Film Study....he does not always have good technique as the Force defender, thus they get outside of him. He has made a lot of great plays, but...we miss Byron Addison, IMHO. Great guy, loyal guy, but...he is trailing a receiver way too often for my preference.

Lets get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My prediction is: Oregon, 52-20, 2, 3, 321 It is an aggressive pick because I think Oregon wants to even things up, assert our STANDARD, and blow off some steam.

I was just informed by the Assistant Athletic Director of Communications (whom I deal with often concerning media and photo passes for games) that Oregon Athletics has no such account, and the post from that account about SEC scheduling is bogus. Good question, and thanks for initiating the clarification. Sorry, we will not play Alabama until the Playoffs, but I look forward to it then!

I do not know if it is real, but I will inquire with the Athletic Department to find out.

I am thankful for this community of reasonable people, because most people online do not want civility. I am grateful for people being a good sport with our rules and protocols. It just makes it all more fun when you have a group of nice people, which is what makes it a very special place here. Thank you everyone.

This is what I wanted going into this year. Reading so many people who wanted him to actually run often--brought back PTSD of Oregon football after his injury last year. Darren...THANKS for listing the yards passing and running. It goes to show that Will Stein has really created something special, and has tapped Bo Nix's passing skills, upped his game, and thus made him more attractive to the NFL. Everyone wins!
