Wasn't it incredible that both Gabriel and Nix had precisely the same number of touchdowns and interceptions? I have not watched Gabriel games, so I do not have an opinion on his arm strength, but I was not impressed with the long-ball accuracy from any of the QBs in the Spring Game, nor was I with Nix. While they are low-percentage passes...I thought we would complete more Bird-Bombs with Nix than we did.

They beat USC, who we went 2-2 with this season, and they split with UC Irvine, who was ranked No. 18 in the final poll. They are on a 10 game winning streak, so they will be a very tough out for Our Beloved Ducks.

I agree with this. In fact I believe the difference will be obvious before the first half ends of the Civil War this fall. I am REAL curious to see what Beaver Baseball players do, because thus far--each sport is moving to Mountain West quality, and the question is whether Baseball goes the same way.
