I did not realize until now that we are on ESPN for the noon game, thus great exposure. If anyone wants to chat about the game as it happens or afterward--this is a good thread for it! Jadrian Tracey has really come in and given the Ducks scoring punch and energy the last two games...

...and then we have Oregon Baseball, Baby! There are a couple of us who follow the Diamond-Ducks, as the team will have a pack of pitchers who are experienced, and some good hitters to challenge a really good Pac-12 conference in Baseball this year.

Oh, this is a rich topic! Call it mean, but anyone who steals 35 million from Oregon moves up on my "hate" list to where I'd love to see Oregon State lose a bunch of games to Mountain West teams. I agree with you...I really only want to see Utah do well, not just because of the great Ute fans on this forum, but because of the integrity of their program. Of course I would love to see USC and Washington move to the B1G like...

The Curse at Colorado has been present for Oregon in even the best years. Yet we have won at Salt Lake City in the past, and have a real shot at doing so again...

Sunday noon on ESPN! Great exposure for OBD! If we beat Utah on Sunday, then we still have a game lead going into playing the Arizona teams next week. Go Ducks!

Friday, January 19th Update: I was wrong about him visiting Oregon recently, as Muhammad has NOT visited, and will visit next weekend after his Texas and Alabama visits. It is good that we are last, and that he was not here during the terrible weather. (Although Seattle had it too) From a Texas site this morning.... “Finally, on Jabbar Muhammad; The Washington transfer arrived in Tuscaloosa last night as expected. My Duck-Buddies, I just spent three days house-bound with NO internet, and NO TV...with my ex-wife. What could possibly go wrong? Roads are clear for travel to the office so I can be on the web again, but thought I would give you all an update. Repair Status: 1. The Bastards at Verizon: We get tons of text messages and solicitation emails from them, but when it is crunch time? Crickets. All they had to do is include a recording explaining that internet coverage on the phone is poor because of power outages, and cell towers need power too. But we get nothing, and I learned only by showing up and rattling some cages. It will not change until the power is restored everywhere....and that will be a while. 2. The Bastards at Comcast/Xfinity: All they had to do was explain things in a recording when you call in as well, but corporate will not allow it. The scoop? For those out of internet and TV in the Eugene Santa Clara area and others....NOTHING has been done. They cannot do any work until the power is restored by the utility companies first. So no, this is not going to be a day from now...probably a WEEK. A terrible way for both to treat their customers. Un-fricken-believable. Where are the Regulatory Agencies Helping and Protecting the Consumer? Maybe...he told Lanning that he wanted to train to be a DC, and between Lupoi and Hampton...there was no bandwidth for that? For Meat to have his career progress beyond DBs coach, he would have to go somewhere else?

No spinning good from this. He is a proven great coach, and fantastic recruiter. But he did not leave the cupboard bare here, and we thank him for that and his time at Oregon. Godspeed.

Rumors, nothing confirmed. If true, I have a pretty high confidence in Lanning hiring a great new DB coach.
