I like a lot of his reporting and writing, but the other side of him is what you and I have described. But he is very clever at pulling people away from the real issue, by bringing emotional elements into it.

My Texas Tech friend was gloating before the season about how much Tyler has improved, how Oregon blew it by losing him, and how Shough was going to chew up the Ducks in Lubbock. A few weeks ago—he lamented how TT was destined to always make the bad decision at the worst times. Now THEY were done with him!

I understand how some here wish to equate the Beavers being overpaid the same as Oregon compared to the LA schools. To me, that is a diversion for talking points, but does not address the serious issue taking place… The PAC-2 are dead set on stealing 400 million from 10 schools, and nobody is calling this theft for what it is. Nobody in the media is addressing the true value of OSU and WSU. A discussion of what the LA schools wanted—is simply a pivot away from current reality, and feeds right into the Canzano strategy of distracting you, and making you feel sorry for the PAC-2 without looking at how they are trying to flat-out steal Oregon’s rightful share that was earned. I hope the PAC-12 attorneys stay on point, and do not be so easily diverted.

Canzano is selling out Oregon, and his Duck readers for the biggest theft ever in NCAA history. You know me; I always present facts and reasonable rationale. See it on Monday...

Cam Ward would fit SO WELL, and would benefit from a Will Stein offense, IMHO.

OK....now I gotta share this. When we played at Washington, I was watching ESPN GameDay when I saw maybe the funniest sign ever. It HAD to be from a graduate Psychology student, and even when you disagree--you have to admit it is funny! Oregon is GREEN with Penix Envy!

Well, Oregon beat USC by nine in Autzen, and the Huskies beat the Trojans by ten in the Coliseum. I can't complain overall with the Washington game, as we had our chances. But I think an analyst on the Pac-12 Network today said it best, "if there was an award for the most pissed-off team in America....Oregon would win it hands-down. They have been playing with a sense of mission and intensity since that loss like no other team."

I am certainly going to have them stopped immediately. But the ad platform people do not arrive at work until Monday morning. If I have the site up on a page on the forum....you are right, in that a video starts blaring! They gotta go, and WILL. My sincere apologies to all.

Wowsa. I had claimed PittDuck as the winner by tiebreaker, but when you do these things at late night as this old-fart did--you sometimes can make a mistake. The actual winner is Just Ducky, who was only four points off from 49-13 with his 52-14 prediction! Pretty darn good pick, and although I had declared PittDuck the winner--he was close at five points off is all. So I offer my apologies to Just Ducky as well as my congratulations!

My FishDuck Friends, while I am easily amused with humor, and impressed with the smallest items by OBD...Oregon's offensive attack for the Sun Devils was pretty impressive. So many times we fans will evaluate matchups based on talent, but ignore or are unaware of the differences in coaching and preparation. ASU had a robust defensive front, and even the Oregon insiders on the radio spoke of how the Sun Devils had problems on offense, but had a stout defense. Yet, the Oregon offense put 42 up on them in the first half? Whew! Like the Texas Tech game where they had strong huge defensive tackles...the game plan was run outside of them. So you saw a ton of Toss plays, Outside Zone Reads, and flair passes to our running backs in the flat after the WRs took the corners downfield. Oregon knew that ASU would focus on our favorite TE Terrance Ferguson, thus used him and those outside plays later as a decoy to open up Patrick Herbert. Wowsa. Once Arizona State got opened up in all directions--then what happens? The inside plays now become more open as the linebackers, and edge defenders have become hyper-vigilant towards the perimeter. It was a masterful GamePlan my friends, so... We Gotta Savor it!

It is honorable to cheer for the Huskies...when it benefits Oregon. Like tonight.
