  1. Revive the games after everything is settled. I am not against that, but to reward stealing right now is....
  2. My FishDuck Friends, We just had Backlink orders in FishDuck.com articles recently from Australia, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Malta. How about that for global? The more routine ones are in England, and in the US, but we sure have had some dandies over the years. I decided to go back and document the different countries, and you can see the list below. Whew! London, England, UK Tallinn, Estonia Hong Kong New Westminster, Canada Stockholm, Sweden Vilnius, Lithuania (Above) Tel Aviv, Israel Prague, Czech Republic Rigg, Latvia AR Rayyan, Qatar Singapore Saint Etienne, France Moscow, Russia Markovo, Bulgaria Panama City, Panama New York, Miami, San Francisco, United States Limassol, Cyprus Barcelona, Spain Kyiv, Ukraine Tamil, India Sliema, Malta Vestergaard, Denmark Belgrade, Serbia Budapest, Romania Tbilisi, Georgia Csomad, Hungary Skomielna Biala, Poland Port Louis, Mauritius Tumbak Bayuh, Bali Red Hill, Australia So What Are These Gambling References About? FishDuck.com is getting paid to place backlinks into articles. Why, and what is that? Companies, (usually abroad) want their new websites to be found on Google, thus their Google Rankings must go up. These new gambling site companies go to Marketing/SEO companies and pay them to raise their profile, their "SEO Juice" (Search Engine Optimization) with the Google search process. If their new site or company is linked on another site (like mine) that has excellent SEO Juice...then it helps them get found in a Google Search so much better. These links are not advertising, and not meant to generate business, they are just there to be a backlink on my site is all. So I weave them into articles like in a recent article--we this example of how we do it. "Even Mr. FishDuck had some words about the bowl as he was having fun on a brand new independent casino site recently." Do know that I've never placed a single bet anywhere; not online, not at Vegas,...anywhere. I have vices, (like the time spent here) but gambling is not one of them. I thought I'd share it with you, as part of my amusement with it all is looking up where some of these places are...like a small village in the Philippines, or in a suburb of Budapest, etc. This is a worldwide industry that did not even exist ten years ago, and now provides work for thousands across the world. Binangonan, Philippines FishDuck.com is a small part of it, and this is not in reference to the ads you see on the forum, but referring to the links in FishDuck articles. The combination of those ads, and these backlink orders pays for the two sites, and keeps the Shameless Beggar from hitting you all up for donations. Emails from Eastern Europe come in the middle of our night, (middle of the next work-day for them) and I sometimes answer their emails on my phone at 2:00 AM when I get up to go to the restroom. There are a number of sharks in that industry, and I've been fooled in the beginning, but I now have a protocol to stop the bad-guys. But there are a ton of nice people around the world also that I've come acquainted with, due to FishDuck.com, and the correspondence that flies across halfway around the earth. I am still amazed by it. But I am also grateful for it, as the payments into the FishDuck.com PayPal help to pay the Web Developer in England, and the photographers on the sidelines at the games. It is small world now! Charles
  3. Doggone it. We can't have someone reasonable in here! I disagree, but love having opposing views to give us pause and reflection. Good Stuff. Canvasback....I still have this picture you took of me fifteen years ago, when I was on the Spring Game Chain Crew. Many thanks! "I've got to run HOW far after a punt? Not nice to make FAT BOY run!"
  4. Can't blame him, and wish him well. Troy Franklin announces he's going pro 247SPORTS.COM Oregon wide receiver Troy Franklin announced on Friday he will turn pro.
  5. Why would we schedule to play Oregon State when they intend to steal 38 million of 2023 revenue Oregon earned? You know...I am beginning to think that there might be something going on behind closed doors to help all parties come to a Pac-2 agreement? "We help you, and you help us." Oregon State's schedule was crap until they added Oregon to it. Now all the west coast eyes will be on that game, (which helps their media deal) and the attendance at Reser will be packed. So Oregon just gifted a TON of value to OSU, while losing a home game at Autzen in 2024? Either it is stupid-as-hell, or it is hushed, unknown bargaining happening? I'm betting on... Stupid-as-Hell.
  6. Rogers is pretty good, but will the Huskies be as good as Penix and his WRs?
  7. While he was not a great HC, Mark Helfrich was an outstanding Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach under Chip Kelly.
  8. From Michigan On3, and Pete Nakos of On3: Summary: Things are trending to Oregon for Moore. Michigan is in the mix, but no visit has been scheduled. Moore wants to be developed. Michigan could fall out of the race if J.J. enters the draft in January or if Harbaugh leaves for the NFL (which is very possible if he does not extend his contract by Dec 31). Nakos wouldn't be surprised if he committed this weekend. The Ducks are crushing it in the portal. """ Michigan made contact with former five-star recruit and UCLA signal-caller Dante Moore, who has three years of eligibility remaining. U-M was listed as one of the contenders immediately following his transfer portal entrance, but Oregon is really the only team that has had any buzz in the recruitment as of late. He arrived Thursday for his visit to Eugene, where he was once committed as a prep prospect, per On3’s Pete Nakos. Moore started five games for the Bruins last season, having an up-and-down season like many freshmen. He got the early playing time he desired but after one season of college football seems to have realized how important development is. “It’s significant that someone like Dante is willing to go and hear Oregon out,” Nakos told TheWolverine.com. “I haven’t really heard of any other schools in the mix [this week], except Oregon. Obviously, Michigan was in communication. I kind of viewed them as a school in the mix. “Everything I know, though, is that Dante would really love to be developed, and he still wants to play at a really high level. So, I don’t think going somewhere and starting right away is exactly what he’s looking for. If J.J. does or would come back, I think that will make Michigan really attractive. “But yeah, going to Oregon and everything, working with Dan Lanning and [former Oklahoma starting quarterback] Dillon Gabriel, I think those are all attractive variables to him.” Michigan still having playoff games to prepare for, and thus McCarthy not being focused on his decision, are things that the Wolverines wouldn’t trade. But that may hinder them in the race for Moore. “That makes me wonder if everything goes well at Oregon, will he commit to the Ducks?” Nakos wondered aloud. “I don’t know that for sure, but just the way things are trending right now, I wouldn’t be surprised.” At the current moment, getting in on any of the one-year rentals (of which Moore is not) isn’t really possible for the Maize and Blue. However, there will be options as time moves on. “The last time I checked, though, there are over 110 FBS quarterbacks in the portal, which is ridiculous,” Nakos revealed. “Michigan is definitely going to have some options for a one-year guy, whether they need it or not. And they’ll probably get a good idea of what J.J. is going to do in early January.” ... Most aggressive teams in the portal so far: “I think [Colorado head coach] Deion [Sanders] has done a nice job going after linemen, like we all knew he needed to do. Now, are they good? I think we’ll find out in September. Ole Miss has been impressive, just getting people on campus. And then Oregon, man, is killing it. They land Dillon, they’re going to get Dante for a visit, they had [former Texas A&M defensive tackle] Walter Nolen out there this past weekend. Those are all the top names. I know they’re trying to get a wide receiver or two on campus this weekend. ------------------------------------------------------- Good thing Dano did not burn any bridges when he lost out on Moore last year....
  9. On December 1, 2021.... Sources close to the OU Athletic Department report that they plan to hire Dan Lanning (Georgia's DC) to fill their Head Coaching Position. Announcements will be made Sunday with a Press Conference to follow on Monday 12/6. Had he already said yes? Or not received an official offer? Nobody knows.
  10. This is big...thank goodness for Bucky and Bo! Lanning says RB Bucky Irving will play in the Fiesta Bowl DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Head coach Dan Lanning announced RB Bucky Irving will play in the Fiesta Bowl despite declaring for the NFL draft.
  11. Ok...you gotta laugh at how wacko they are! "I never said I was noble."
  12. Sooner fans are displeased enough about Dillon Gabriel leaving, but to lose offensive lineman Cayden Green to the portal--who is now visiting the Ducks and Oregon is now considered the leader? (Gabriel and Green playing together doesn't hurt, and they could be some recruiting going on there) Not a happy bunch. I am a bit twisted, as I enjoy the misery of other big programs a bit too much.
  13. You know...I am beginning to think that there might be something going on behind closed doors to help all parties come to a Pac-2 agreement? "We help you, and you help us." 14. Yes, and Noah Whittington was a 2-Star receiver at Western Kentucky when signed. If there is one coach I trust with making these judgments...
  15. That axiom applies to employees, volunteers, players, coaches....everyone. It is not foolproof, but it works the majority of the time. Now how does that apply to our first-year young offensive line coach?
  16. He was 5-Star on Rivals.com.... David Hicks Jr. | AggieYell N.RIVALS.COM David Hicks Jr. - 5 Star Defensive tackle for Texas A&M on AggieYell
  17. Suspicious as heck, because the HC at this high school is the father of David Hicks, one of the nation's top recruits at DT last year. Remember when he broke our heart near the end? Now TAMU is a dumpster fire, with all the departures. Could this be another portal transfer upcoming?
  18. Powerful. These high school coaches are football nerds, and just eat up the sport. To impress a HC to this degree? Look at that quote... Whew!
  19. There are ALL KINDS of rumors taking place. Like maybe Noah Whittington is not going to be ready for fall? The aforementioned possible flip of Nate Frazier from Georgia? (Doubt it) Or a RB transfer Oregon might be looking at?
  20. No, you go after all of them and see who comes. If more than one does--it is a good problem. Besides, Nolen is a defensive tackle, at a three or four-technique, while Harmon is a classic Nose Tackle, a zero or one-technique. We lost both who play the NT in Taimani and Popo. Techniques for where to line up is on top for the defense, and gaps on bottom for the offense.
  21. Posting any opinion is fine, as what can start as a minority opinion can later become the obvious, known consensus. (Me and Mario's offense) But it has to start somewhere... I want all opinions, as we learn from each other and generate great discussion, and as long as we state our opinion and that is it...and nothing about another OBD member or their opinion--then it is all cool here.
