OK guys...this is a TERRIBLE thought, but I will share it for your reactions, and thank goodness I am on a site where people cannot attack me personally. What if...both Moga and Novosad have told the coaches they are leaving in the portal at the end of the season? Perhaps Dante has already told them that he is returning next year? So, the coaches are playing the only QB who might be back next year? But the two QBs understand that they will be playing if Dante gets hurt? Meanwhile Akili Smith Jr. is using a redshirt, and only has four games to use this year. My understanding is that he was not on the travel squad, which makes sense if you are already taking four QBs on the trip.

This would have been so cool for Bill Walton... Turn up the background music!

Never seen this before at Oregon! Both backups have used their redshirt year, and both are in uniform on the sidelines...but don't play in garbage time? No facts or explanations on the other sites, except the same speculation as we have here. Just that thread on ScoopDuck alone is enough to make me very grateful for the community here. There are a ton of attacks on each other for simply disagreeing, or scolding each other for bringing up the question, etc. Civility is highly underrated.

BeaverStateDuck! With a final score of 56-10, and his guess of 52-9 was only FIVE points off the total! Pretty darn good, and it was GREAT to see a Duck fan rewarded for being super-positive, instead being a bit hesitant as most of us are prone to be after tough loss. Thanks to all who had fun with it, and CONGRATS again to BeaverStateDuck! I Was Almost Right There With You!

The list of surprises is long, but for me--it was great to see the offensive line get angry and dominate a so-so program's defensive line. No playing down, as we had hat-on-hat often, and saw superb extended blocking. On the flip side...I saw a few holds by us that were not called, and would love to clean that up. What surprises were there for YOU?
