That is an unfortunate post....so let's not comment in either direction please.

The only team from the future B1G that was ranked at the end of last season was No. 12 Oregon. So I think Oregon and UCLA will be vying for the B1G title in our first year....

That sounds like a brawl and forfeits in the future. Glad I'm not in his conference after this year!

It is a short two minute interview, but he says a ton and is very upbeat about the upside. What he does not mention, is that Oregon will not longer be playing Stanford, Arizona, ASU and Oregon State in conference play after this year. The B1G did not have a single team ranked in the top 25 at the end of last season, thus it is wide open for the Ducks. Waz also coached in the B1G for a couple of years at Purdue, thus he already knows the fields, the travel issues, all of it already. Oregon is poised!

Catching on...

I was aghast at seeing this...so many bad messages, so many ways it will hurt the team later. Good gosh, I'm glad we don't have him here! (And before you ask...yes, in the rules we can write anything about any coach, player, journalist, anyone-anywhere. Just nothing personal about current players and coaches. Performance criticism--yes, getting personal with current players and coaches--no. The rest of the world is fair game.)

This is a great idea, and I do not know if the Ducks have an "official" Oregon Craft Beer IPA....but we should. Better yet, make one special for us! "Lanning Lager"...."Yell-'O'-Ale?"

Lanning said he wanted LBs who could move "sideline-to-sideline" and not just cover the A-Gaps. So--if they held their speed...look out!

For a big article...it was pretty skimpy of what the article was supposed to be about. "Washington left and Oregon followed..." That is it? No more elaboration, no source, no proof, not even logic as to why from the Oregon angle?

That video above is so cool from 1998...Herman had power, and the moves. He stepped in to save us when Reuben Droughns got hurt early in that game. Boy could Oregon run screen passes well back then!

So...more proof of the new B1G being a Super-Conference, and perhaps the best one? (Based on 2024 conferences) SEC: Eight teams ranked, No. 1, No. 4, No. 5, No. 11, No. 12, No. 20, No. 22, and No. 23 for a total of 98. B1G: Eight teams ranked, No. 2, No. 3, No. 6, No. 7, No. 10, No. 15, No. 19, and No. 25 for a total of 87. Lowest score wins, as the higher you are ranked--the lower the number. The B1G has the higher ranking at the end of last year based on the 2024 conferences. This will be quite interesting to watch over time...

Well, I would have guests sit in the big brown chair, while I would have the entertainment tour from the black table. But in a month or so--the Famous FishDuck ManCave will be no more. Yet, like joining the B1G...new adventures await! A video created in that room...

B1G to USC: "Sure, we'll keep Oregon out." Final Result? The biggest one ever...

Yes, we are part of a Super-Conference now, and Oregon is part of what makes it super. For those that missed it--for the final top 25 last year--analyze the future SEC and B1G and both had seven in the top 25, with the higher ranking going to the B1G! The SEC is no longer going to be the default "best" conference, and Our Beloved Ducks will have a part in making that true.

It is like the loss of the Pac-12, and the promise of new adventures going forward.

For once James Crepea gives someone else grief with a long statement/question. As for GK? In our rear-view mirror, as he is now Oregon State's problem. While it is a terrible shame, we now can see that a good deal was never going to happen. The entities were not going to pay what we needed, and the best judgment of it all was leaving for the B1G...which is something I thought I'd never write. But as time passes I am more and more delighted with the decision. Oregon will be fine...

1. The vast majority of Oregon fans did NOT want this happen. 2. If the circumstances were reversed…they would have done the same thing in a heartbeat and felt fine about it. 3. They were rejected because they don’t have a brand or large following. Whose fault is that?

No biggie. The truth is…most of the other teams of the former PAC-12 and their fans did not like the Ducks for a variety of reasons. Another reason won’t matter. They may not “like” Oregon, but if we do as well as I believe we will under Dan Lanning..,they will respect us. I’m good with that.
